Secondly, can you dribble while moving or is it just stationary dribbling again like Live 10's size ups? Looked a bit better in that E3 tech demo.
The speed of the dribble is not the issue in current gen b-ball games. Its how the ball floats to find the animation witch made it very unrealistic.

To answer your question its not to many moves you can do while moving when I comes to dribbling.

If i served you dookey on a plate to eat, and going by your philosophy of "can't tell nothing from a trailer, haven't played the game yet" you would clearly eat that dookey, stating you cant see nothing wrong with it, until you tried it. knowing you arent supposed to eat fecal matter, and you can clearly see its dookey.

Curry having a seizure in front of Deron in this clip is something that is visually wrong... its spastic.. see how easy that was. Know what else is easy.. i like the clarity of the arena & court.

doing what I just did stating a like and dislike must be hard for you...

im done, carry on.
so, what are you trying to say when you call me a "homer?" haven't stated what i liked or didn't like. unlike the majority of you, i don't base my opinions on buying a game based on a trailer. i'm done, carry on.

What you're saying is the equivalent of watching someone spit in your food and saying, I can't judge because I haven't eaten it yet! :P
if that's how you feel, that's how you feel.

Everyone live is fooling you all. They're showcasing really old builds on this trailer. My proof is that derrick rose is wearing only one knee sleeve but in the newest pic he's wearing to knee sleeves. The next trailer you get will be totally different.

few tweets from the main dev.

@Da_Czar says Live fans, don't give up after seeing the trailer. There's sure to be more in store. #SimNationRadio

I'm still hanging around, waiting to see how it plays. It could play a good game of bball. Then again, it could not. I want to see some gameplay video, vs highlights. I can handle some of the herky jerky, as long as the AI is there.

I hope it does play a good game of basketball. I would love there to be some competition. However, when one game shows a significant graphical advantage not to mention more lifelike player models and movement? My main concern is if this were a NON sports game like Ryse or Watch Dogs, people would be very concerned about the NON-NEXT GEN'nes of the look of the trailer and wouldn't even consider buying something that they could have played on PS3 or 360. The expectations are higher for next-gen....and they should be.

EA has had enough time to get this game looking better than it does. Maybe we would be excited about the way it looks if the 2K trailer hadn't come out. But it did and they are just not on the same level right now. Maybe that will get EA to step up their game. They will have to if they want to survive.

lol... the same thing was said about elite 11, live 13, and it seems they are saying the same thing about live 14.. What a coincidence! I remember when EA dev team was excited to release elite 11 demo, they really thought that it was solid, with rocket dunks from freethrow line and etc... reviews came back and they were actually puzzled about all the complaints. They actually thought the game was great and solid. I think it just comes down to standard now, EA vision for basketball doesn't meet my vision for basketball.. Thats why i cancelled my preorder. Others might see things the way we does, but I'm like Mike Wang... I'm out!

Wait, so they showed me team fortress Nash and that jerky video and im now im jumping to conclusions?

Wait...everybody is jumping to conclusions over a video

Although this looks like a really poor excuse for a next gen basketball game, it will at least be an improvement over the garbage of Elite 11 if they don't have a jesus Bynum in the middle of the court. I guess that's something

Why not release a video or better yet, a game without the many, many visual problems then?

Graphics can be terrible and defenders can jerk around spastically but gameplay is king as long as we have pretty dribbling animations?

If we're not supposed to judge the game by a video, then we should also discount everything positive we see. Can't have it both ways.

EA acts that way with all their games, it's something i'm very used to. When we look at these trailers and sizzle videos, we're only supposed to point out the good. When all the bad is pointed out and brought to the table, it's an "old build" or the AI is "turned down".

Why can't the fans and developers of these games see that it just looks bad, and if it looks bad, it will probably play bad. We've done this dog and pony show ever year now with these games, and usually what we see is what we get. Why people keep expecting change with this company I don't understand.

Really? They're already on a redesign of the dribbling system (2K11) and it's already capable of everything you see touted in Bouncetek.

I honestly think that the people working at EA believes it looks good.

Maybe because they see it everyday. Or maybe because they have seen the actual gameplay. Or maybe they are just ignorant.

But I think they really believe it is a good product or else they wouldn't have put those videos out.

It is kind of the same way they thought Elite 13 was good. Right until it got out to the public and received negative feedback.

Holy crap. Are you serious? Blind? Were you just looking at the dribbler during standing dribble moves? You had to be. I'm not complaining about it, but for you to say there was NONE makes you either blind or someone stretching the truth by a LOT. I've already said that foot locking is NOT an easy thing to nail especially in a sports game. Don't expect to not see some sliding on occasion. But again, don't try to make this statement when the video shows quite a bit of it.

You know what man... screw 2k

If you turn on the tv, NBA Tv, Fox Sports, ESPN, ABC, youtube, Apple TV, Roku, etc etc

There is now way you look at a real basketball game and then look at this and say "yep, looks just like the real deal"

That's just not possible in this day and age

This close to release? Forget everything else, THAT is the biggest red flag of all. AI should have that nailed down by now with the game going gold in weeks.
