Yes, if you are referring to this.

But I have not seen it after the tuner.. I might just be getting lucky.

Did the patch fix when you are in Heisman difficulty the CPU will attempt 60+ yard field goals all the time? Thanks in advance.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I played two games yesterday and saw the lateral zombie defense against option enough to make me feel like I was cheating when I ran option.

Now I'm going to beat a dead horse: Fix the no huddle!

That's it.

I had this happen on two plays last night after the tuner set. Not sure why its happening on some plays and not others. i was running gt's playbook with lots of options.

Im a little late to the patch party, but the game feels..well...'odd'. I havent played it too much so i want to reserve judgement, but i have seen my receivers run just free as a bird, with no one around them....more then once.

I'm about to be that guy...

If you are throwing interceptions it is your fault.

First game post patch I went 7-15 in the first half for like 60 yards. Second half I go 16-20 for about 250 yards and two scores.

I play on challenging sliders and that put my TD:INT ration at 14:8 on the season.

I made every throw you could think of. I completed a few screens (bubble & mid) and even threw a nice pass OVER two LB's who were sitting in a zone under where my TE settled in.

The CPU almost picked off one pass but they went for the knock down instead. The play was beautiful...

I had my wide right WR on a 7-10 yard out. I see the CB on him has a flat zone and the safety over top goes into a deep zone. Well my WR breaks and there is nothing but open space. Before I am able to throw the ball I notice the underneath CB start creeping up to where my WR is. I make the throw anyways and the CB makes a break on it and knocks it down.

Another play...

I had a TE who had a step on a pair of DB's while running a deep post. I touch pass the ball and lead him. The DB's catch up to my TE but the pass goes riiiiight over them for the TE catch in the endzone.

I'm noticing much more dynamic zone play by the CPU AI and I had a great experience in game one.

Negatives:
- HUM running is a bit too easy
- Still don't get an accurate pass rush
- My QB broke way too many tackles. It could be a fluke but he broke three sack attempts in one freaking play. I'll post it in a dynasty vid for all to see. I'll show off some of these throws as well.

I will post more impressions as I play more.

Fellow Notre Dame fan, im leaning on agreeing.

playing through a offline dynasty game, im using notre dame and going old school-lou holts flexbone.

it took about a quarter to get used to how the cpu is being a bit more aggressive on D..its the 1st thing I noticed...but i settled in, started counting numbers and began to do my thing.

I am paying attention to how they are defending the option...i had one play where the pitch man wasnt accounted for..but i dont know yet if it is a glitch or just the way that particular play was defended.

Havent seen anything odd yet....but ill keep an eye out

Has anyone else noticed how good the helmets look now? Specifically the helmets with the glitter paint. They shine a lot more. I remember they looked like that before the very first patch.

So running option just now. NC state is just giving me the dive and I'm killing them for it. Next drive, they take the dive away, force player goes right at my qb, pitch to the slot, six points. I noticed 2 things: 1. The defense was in cover 3, the corner was backpeddaling the whole time, until the pitch then he just shuffled to the sideline. 2. The pitch was to the left, yet the pitch animation had my qb making the pitching motion to the right- and the ball kind of jumped off his left hand. Hadn't noticed this before..

I'm trying to figure this out myself. In my pre-patch dynasty, I am noticing the no-huddle glitch.
But I'm also still unsure if my pre-patch dynasty is working with the patch. Someone in another thread suggested it's tuner related. Can anyone confirm if pre-patch dynasties work with the patch?

# 633 OGKing @ 09/13/11 03:59 AM
YES, prepatch dynasty works with the patch, otherwise there won't be any no huddle glitch, there won't be any new conference logo for the mountain west, and the coaching carousel wouldn't work as well as it is now.

I did a little research into the playbooks glitch after I lost my first custom playbook after hours of tuning and tweaking just to find out it didnt work. I'm not sure if anyone else has said this already and I am not sure if the patch fixed the playbooks, but if you dont take out the plays for the preset audibles and you dont change your audibles, your playbook wont glitch. I made one playbook quickly after reading that to see if it would work, and it did. Sucks you cant have your own audibles but its better than nothing.

Anyone else having issues with getting their defense to lineup properly? When my opponent lines up with twins to one side, I'm getting a LB covering the slot, and the CB covering the TE opposite the twins.

It doesn't seem to happen every time though.

The times that it does not, are you in 425 or 335? That has been a glitch for a few years now in 425/335 where the weak side SS won't properly align against unbalanced WR sets. So if your opponent goes twins or trips to one side, that DB will get lost in the middle of the formation and usually cover the TE or inside slot while the OLB covers the slot WR.

I haven't seen it in any other formations, but occasionally the defense gets lost and mixes coverages when you're in Cover 1 against trips.

Not sure how I liked the Update yet been playing a few games on all the difficulties to test it out and useing sliders for rush defence for the ai since rushing on the game has been eazier than in years before for the most part before the patch. tackling set at 70 and rush d set 65. I don't do custom playbooks for the most part so that didn;t affect me. the passing in a way seems a bit eazier on some things and harder on others. I can actualy throw down field more and my wide outs try to catch the ball actualy. wide outs seem not to drop the ball as much. My main target Ryan Broyles seemed to only drop one ball when the pass got to him unlike before when he would drop 80% .The supperLBers seem to bat more things down over the mid than before or maybe thats just what it seems like. My oline seems to have turned into the incredible hulks on varsity is the worst 4 to 5 times a game and soon as i hike the ball the oline would just knock the dline down. Every dline player would fall down at the same time and if LBers were in the box covering the run they would as well. It happend on All-American and Hiesman as well but sparingly but I did have a few 50 yard burts because of it and before the patch it was alot diffren't the longest I would get on hiseman would be around a 25-30 yard rush at one time. Also I noticed a few strange things. If I audible to a hot route with one of my wide outs sometimes the SS and or the FS with adjust his position. I audibled a Slant with my wide out to the left and he adjusted over to the left a few feet and he was the one covering that reciver. Not sure why he would know what route he was going to go thought the patch fixed that?

I'm truly enjoying the game.

I bumped up CPU rush defense and it instantly made running more difficult. I love the responsiveness of that slider.

I need to bump up INT for both HUM/CPU just a pinch. I might also bump up HUM pass block as I am constantly under pressure while the CPU has a big advantage in this area.

# 639 brahmagoul @ 09/15/11 10:09 PM
My only gameplay beef post patch is that corners still come out of nowhere to pick off wide receiver screens. It could be that I just suck, but they seem like they should be good for at least 4-5 yards when I make the throw.
