I did not see anything about the "Strip Ball" setting in the list of things that were fixed. Why is this not being addressed? I see no benefit to giving a team 3 turnovers by fumbles because the turned a setting on. Turning the "Big Run" setting will keep you from fumbling, but I am not seeing anyone miss tackles when the attempt to strip the ball every time. Just a stupid idea all together.
Are you guys absolutely sure that something was done to the graphics and crowd noise? Honestly, I don't notice a difference. Seems like a "LT/L2" situation again.
A few "broken" things post-patch (meaning things that were fine before but are not now):
- I know WR blocking was patched. Unfortunately, the game doesn't really register pass interference on WR blocks, it seems. The CPU ran a bubble screen to their left. There were two receivers and two CB's to that side. The CB covering the guy not being targeted broke off his WR and went to make a play on the ball. While the ball was in the air, the WR (not the one being thrown to) cleaned out the CB with a chop block. Obviously this should be pass interference, but it was not called.
- I'm seeing the option glitch on every QB option I run. One defender just stands there, apparently stuck in an animation.
- This is only mildly annoying: When you hit the triangle button (PS3) to pull up special teams in the playbook menu, the game no longer defaults to the correct special teams play. Say it's 4th down from on my own 20 yard line. When I hit triangle instead of bringing up the punt plays it'll bring up the FG option, giving me the chance to hit a 100 yard FG. Obviously I can just scroll down and choose punt, but it used to just bring up punt. And in at least one case the CPU came out in FG block formation, even after I chose punt.
I noticed the same frozen animation that the guy mentioned above. even on heisman difficulty that happens. I have one quick question regarding the roster tendencies though. I am in year 4 of my dynasty, meaning my named rosters will only have the original guys for at most one more year (redshirt seniors). So after all the original named guys graduate, will the tendencies thing be fixed, i.e. will a scrambler scramble, a speed rb juke as opposed to a power guy trucking etc?
I was playing the CPU and their QB threw a WR quick out. The football bounced very hard off the WR and went several yards behind the line of scrimmage. The game continued as if it was a fumble eventhough the pass was over the line of scrimmage. I scooped the ball up and ran it for a TD. This is a glitch.
Does anyone know what causes the receivers to allow the ball to hit them in the helmet when running drags sometimes? I'm all for drags and slants not being money plays but the fact that there's no attempt to look for the ball or catch it makes it look silly. I know it happens sometimes players getting hit with the ball but it happens in games I play 2-3 times.

If the ball is thrown behind the line of scrimmage there is no pass interference. I am a high school coach on a team that runs a lot of screens in our offense. Even if the ball is thrown forward, as long as it is behind the line of scrimmage there is no offensive or defensive pass interference.
I've noticed a slight freeze when switching menu's ! Also noticed the special teams PB is screwed up when you press triangle to punt, for some odd reason the FG screen keeps coming up even if you're way out of FG range !
So I hate absolutely being a negative nancy but felt like I should voice this. Me and my friends were doing our yearly online dynasty. We played all the way through the National Championship game but did not advance through Bowl Week (it was before the patch). My friend (Oregon) and I (Nebraska) squared off for the National Championship. I won handily 50-21. We go to advance it (post-patch) when it comes up, it shows Oregon winning the National Championship 24-17. So much for the patch. Unless this was not talked about being fixed?
Has anyone heard what EA is going to do or planning on doing about this debacle? They ruined everything and people are losing faith in what the can do.
Well, I've gotten a few games in various game modes in, and I'm a lot more pleased than displeased. My sole displeasure is custom playbooks, it is close to a gamebreaker for me because I spent hours and hours putting 8 different books together and I had to delete them all. I had 6 offenses and 2 defenses, each with subtle differences from each other so I could adjust in my OD based on the defenses I faced. A guy that played 1-5-5 D almost exclusively got a book with a ton of I, a guy that matched personnel got a ton of spread. However, being familiar with a number of default playbooks, I feel I can make due. I won't have exactly what I want, but I will have enough.
I am very pleased with the feel of the game, I've seen a few new animations including a really great receiver animation where my WR sort of galloped and caught a ball in stride down the sideline. I struggled a bit more in the running game, but still was able to run my spread option, I just had to mix a few more runs in. I just feel like the game plays so much smoother now.
I had one really great kick return with Aaron Green where he caught it on the left hash, bounced backwards off a tackle, reversed field and took it 80 yards inside the 20 before getting caught. It was really cool to see and he also ran out of steam halfway through the run. I had no problems with returns before though, he led the nation in returns as a Freshman.
The no huddle glitch effected me more than most since I ran an Oregon style spread rushing attack with very little huddling, but I have actually found that I can be just as efficient with it. I have 5 great formations in audibles, each with 4 quick audibles (the formations I picked have unique quick audibles), so I have 20 plays at my disposal... plus any play in the top formation of each set, which for me is Pistol Full House and Shotgun Split Slot, which are two very good formations. So I have a ton of plays available to me and when I need to reset, I will just huddle up.
The biggest issue remaining for me is the dynasty glitches, that has to be fixed within a few weeks, because it is the only thing stopping this from being incredibly good.

I feel your pain man. Similar sad story here: 4 user's in PS3 Online Dynasty (Post Patch & Tuner) we deleted all files and started fresh.
1. a single user/user game still needs to be played on ave. 5 times due to the connection to your opponent has been lost msg. All of us have fantastic internet speed. User/cpu hasn't been a problem at all.
2. Transfer failed msg.'s
3. Failed to upload photos msg.
4. Still unable to chat w/ other users via headset or b-tooth while in dynasty HQ. This just might be a PS3 thing
