Does anyone know if they fixed the TV prestige on dynasty mode, while playing i never had a record for national or regional media games causeing every year to drop for recruiting.
I did not sim ahead, so I don't know about progression...
But since the tendencies and gameplay were affected in an existing dynasty by the patch / tuner, I'd guess there's no need to restart...
Thanks... If that is the case I am about to finish a season and I will let everyone know how Player Progression went since the Tuner Should be E(A)ffective...
Sorry if this has been posted already but it appears as though the issue on coordinators not receiving any credit for t.v. games has not been fixed yet. Just restarted my 1 star dynasty with Akron and as an OC im still not getting any credit for T.V. games. I know this is not a huge issue but just wanted to inform for any curious.
The amount of people who don't understand what the no-huddle glitch actually does is astounding. Seriously, I'm done trying to explain it to people who think it works fine, or think it only applies to shotgun. It's one thing if you don't think it's a big deal for whatever reason, but people who are saying it works or saying it only applies to certain formations are incorrect, and will probably create false impressions and confusion among fellow posters.
We almost need a sticky or something telling people not to comment on the glitch until they've actually read what it is.
Can you tell me what it is, because I have been reading conflicting posts, and have not noticed it in the game. Anyone?
The no huddle glitch basically severely limits what plays you can call when you run no huddle
It fools you by letting you flip left and right to change the sets within the formation on the top heading BUT the actual plays and play art available to you are always the same set of 9 or so plays for the VERY FIRST set within that formation
You CAN change the entire formation from shotgun to, say single back or goal line and get another set of plays for each of those formations BUT again, when you switch to different sets within those formations, the plays and play art don't change from the very first set available within that formation. You are basically stuck with nine plays per formation in the no huddle whereas before the glitch, you could select from your entire playbook.
There is no way this was done by design as some people have suggested and it doesn't prevent anyone from cheesing because you can still go from shotgun to single back and goal line formations at whim, but can only call a handful of plays per formation
The problem is that you can only choose plays from the top listed set for each formation. You can change formations, just not sets within the formation.
Like I said...I will have to check back after work. Who knows, maybe I was just seeing things. I hope they can possibly fix all problems in tuning updates later on

No offense, but it seems obvious that the no-huddle glitch is universal. I don't think you got a version that doesn't include that bug.
I'm sure its been posted, but the patch screwed up my CPB bad. my def is jacked. My special teams is messed up i only have one option for kickoff returns. Do i need to go in and completly redo it? Also does anyone know a good spread playbook to start with that doesn't have wildcat? I hate the fact that i have to keep certian formations even if i only use one play.
I don't wish to open a can of worms here, but has anyone given thought to the fact that this may be false advertising? I would think many people purchase this game based on the premise of certain features that are advertised as features within the game. For instance, if Sony sold millions of Playstations that didn't read USB drives, but everything else worked correctly, wouldn't the consumer have some recourse? I suppose I am just getting frustrated by the fact that certain things are always touted as reasons to make a purchase, but then fail to work after your purchase them. If Directv sold millions of boxes, but no one could watch ESPN, isn't that false advertising? Is in not a faulty product? Does it matter that when you read the back of the game and it says you can do this, and you can do that, but then you cant? I don't know, I'm just disgusted at this point.

I've played one game so far with the latest patch/tuner, and I have to say that I think the patch (aside from the no-huddle issue) is a very welcomed addition to the game.
The game I played was TCU (CPU) @ Air Force. Final score: Air Force 31-28.
Having the correct player tendencies back makes a big difference, imo, to the gameplay. I forced 2 fumbles, both with big-hitters. The TCU QB had several nice scrambles, including a 37-yarder (so much for people who say the CPU looks to slide after crossing the line of scrimmage) and TCU also scored off a Wildcat play, thanks to me totally biting on the handoff fake.
Using Air Force, it was nice to run the option and have it work effectively. The wide receivers do a much better job of holding their blocks on the edge and the QBs do get up to "top speed" faster than pre-patch. I only saw 1 instance of the CPU DB not reacting to the play I was running. I finished with nearly 200 yards on the ground, as did TCU.
I thought pass coverage was fair; I didn't throw much as Air Force so this will need more testing, but I didn't see anything crazy, and I thought that HUM Pass Coverage was good. TCU completed 70% of its passes, but I did see several missed throws, including one that wound up being intercepted.
The CPU is now a threat on special teams; TCU nearly ran back a kickoff for a score and also attempted a fake punt (near midfield, so good spot to call for one).
Yes, the no-huddle bug is there, but it's only if you use shotgun plays. I ran out of the I-formation than called no-huddle, changed to shotgun (had every formation available to me)and ran that play fine. I called no-huddle again and all of the shotgun plays were out of the twin-back set. TCU didn't call any no-huddle against me, so I'm not sure about how we are affected defensively, but from what I've read, you are locked into the formation you start off in. To me, that's not a huge deal as it's harder to change on the fly from a 4-3 to a Dime package if the offense is running a no-huddle. Offensively, it would be nice to change the formations, so hopefully this will be fixed.
Oh, I should also add that the crowd sounds a lot better and the PS3 graphics are brighter and crisper. After the first patch, things looked kind of washed out, but that wasn't the case in the game I played.
Overall, I'm happy with the patch, especially the tendency fix. Now, if we can get the no-huddle issue solved, we'll be good to go.
I was waiting for your post DJ. I am DL the patch. Good stuff. I am fairly confident that the no-huddle glitch will be addressed via another live tuner as EA is well aware of it now.
I really....really wanted this patch to fix just the transfer fails.... Yeah there was other important stuff, but thats all I wanted....but it couldn't even do that.... It made more problems then they had to begin with... I am so incredibly disappointed with the game and the patch..... I am gonna sell it.
The reason why I won't wait. is since this is patch #2 EA will have to pay Money to release further patches.....unless they realize the error of their ways that wont happen.... I feel cheated.../end depressed rant.
Regarding DJ and No Huddle Issue: You don't stay in the formation you called. actually you get put into the 1st formation of that set. Say you had 3 shot gun sets.
Say you called Shotgun Tight formation play and completed the pass and you call no huddle. When You call for the no Huddle you get put into th first formation on the list. since Shotgun 5 wide is #1 on the list that is the formation you get put into. That is why people are mad. If they put me in the same formation I was in after my first play I would have no problems...but to put me in a formation that I don't want to be in/called for? thats messed up. Now there are ways to get around this issue, which is to set your own custom audibles. But because of this issue, if you have a set that is the main set of your offense....unless every audible you have is a play out of that set....then there is no way to use that set as your staple for your offense. And then it limits your audibles into other formations as well since your using them for that formation you want to be in. To me this issue isn't a deal breaker...but I understand why people are mad.
