Just played a game on LEGEND, went 8 innings and won 2-1. It was a great game!

I say this, and I'm not able to quantify it in words properly, but the ball physics seems more real off the bat this year. Bloops, slices, ball falls/ bounces correctly into glove ... hot shots bounce off gloves occasionally instead of absorbing in.

I'd still love a camera that tracks the ball ... so you never lose sight of it and the pitcher and catcher cams seem tighter than last year. No big deal.

I love it.

Same as last year.

Exactly how I feel. The improvement in the core gameplay is the big seller here, even more than the additional goodness in this one.

Guys, I just noticed something. I was in the third inning when Hamels struck out Crawford and went to a cut scene. Dave Campbell was talking about how Cole's ERA was right up there with the top pitchers the year before....the year before showed 2007 and Hamel's name was not in the mix of players. Otherwise, I really enjoy the game so far.

I can NEVER sell my copy of 08. It's got the final year of Yankee Stadium (and shea) in it. I mean.. no way it's going back for barely any money at all to a dealer.

2-0 to Chase Utley with Jayson Werth on first, I put on the hit and run and Utley rips one to first foul and the cut scene shows Utley running to second. Anyone notice this? I am finding it pretty hard to point out the flaws in this game because it is far more superior than any baseball game I have ever played.

This is probably a dumb question, but how do I bring in new pitchers in the demo? I don't see the option.

Just lost my first game and it was a nail biter. I allowed a pinch-hit homer to Gabe Kapler in the seventh inning. Howell came in after a walk to Ruiz, a sac bunt by Hamels and a routine flyball to center field by Rollins with no advance by Ruiz. Werth came up with one out and ripped a shot to the hole in short that Bartlett couldnt handle and Ruiz moved to third on the play. Werth stole second with a 2-1 count and Utley worked it full to only hit a can of corn to shallow center. Rays 1, Phills 0.
