Dude, that actually makes a lot of sense. Last year the pitch would be on you so fast that check swinging had to be quickly. And last year if you try to check swing too early your player would swing(Especially on breaking balls)

the best thing about this "sim" I see is everyone can do their own thing..

Manage, play semi, play full, GM, be their own player, hack in the cage to get ready for real play (me) etc..
something for anyone and everyone suiting their tastes.

I say this, and I'm not able to quantify it in words properly, but the ball physics seems more real off the bat this year. Bloops, slices, ball falls/ bounces correctly into glove ... hot shots bounce off gloves occasionally instead of absorbing in.

I'd still love a camera that tracks the ball ... so you never lose sight of it and the pitcher and catcher cams seem tighter than last year. No big deal.

Great game! The night lighting is fantastic. I can't wait to play a day game under sunny skies. I love the baggy pants, Carl Crawford looks good. I love the big break on curve balls and sliders. I can't wait to get into all the other stadiums. Batting practice in Dodger Stadium baby! Hard to believe it's the demo. I can't wait to see the whole package. Great job dev. team. You guys must be very proud of your product.
