Same with me...some of them may look messy with limbs and what not going everywhere but at least there is a lot more variation of tackles without the tuner instead of the canned tackle animations that have been there since the PS3 days with the tuner.

Nope. Everything is saved, even your settings (at least, on Xbox One).

Wasn't saying they were. All I was saying there was that if Clint's word would have been good enough to take at face value if he confirmed suspicions on this (and we know it would have been), it's certainly good enough when he shot it down.

Booker, thanks for posting the videos. I'd say give it a shot and tweet at Clint or Rex to show what you're talking about. Maybe something can be done about it. Video is a huge key here, because we can all see the same thing at the same time instead of depending on "it feels different", you know?

Still seeing the "insta sheds" way too often but I'm starting to think that it's just an All-Madden thing. Only time I ever see it on my side is in the running game.

Like I said before I haven't seen much success from either side since release but since this tuner I've started noticing a lot more of what I'll describe as "crash 11." Basically as soon as the ball is snapped on a running play all 11 players become heat-seeking missiles to the running back which makes it extremely hard to gain anything. The game I just played against the Redskins CPU and I combined for 103 yards on 57 carries.

I will say I will miss the color rush jerseys if I have to go back to enjoy the game. This tuner destroys the game play of Madden 17, and if included in the next patch, with no changes. It may be the death of Madden updates for me.

If you don't play online just delete the tuner and avoid next patch. Yeah you will get no commentary updates but to me is worth it. The gameplay is amazing the way it is. I feel threaten when playing against good RB. Not all defenders are Ray Lewis and tackling rag doll is live and kicking.

Enjoy the game man.

In the future, I think I am going to quit updating after the release day patch, because it does seem that other "hands" start getting involved. Madden 16 was excellent until the third patch, so I'm starting to see a pattern.

You know all of a sudden I was wondering why I've grown tired of this game so fast and I think you might be on to something. I'm just going to delete everything and see if I get that enjoyment back.

You can only delete the tuner. Unless you are on disc. Then you can have launch experience.

The only way I can risk it is If they make user QB accuracy worst. Otherwise I'm done. This is the madden I get for 2017. If there are any improvements they will come for 2018.

Without the tuner and user QB acc at 7 I'm extremely happy with the experience I'm getting. Perfect? No. But I'm getting fun and one of the most enjoyment are the tackling for me. I said on another post. Tackling and passing accuracy are key.

I love the organic drops. I love the break tackles. Not all defenders are Ray Lewis, and the versatility that each play has because of this. That HB may drop a pass when the pass is a difficult one. The organic drops because they just collied.

Everything they tuned is what I feel make madden 2017 special. So yeah I will give up any new fix for what I have.

Yeah, we can all look up tweets, guy. It's one somewhat recognizable name tweeting about this. Let's not overstate it as some swell of momentum.

The problem is you continue to make definitive statements like:
Quote:
This tuner simply was a response to address those cries from those who don't want to learn how to play the game properly.
Quote:
It's pretty clear to see that it was an extreme nerf to the game play, in my opinion.
and you're not coming with definitive proof to back these issues up. How is anybody supposed to have a constructive conversation with this?

---

And we can go back to your earlier posts in this thread for more definitive statements.

Spoiler

All of these before you even played one second of the game with the tuner to judge any of its' effects.

Look, despite all the typing I've done in this thread, I really, really don't care if you like or dislike the game. I'm not trying to convince you or anyone else. Everyone makes their own decision on a game. I'm saying if you're going to make claims before playing that the game is drastically changed and continue to make them after trying the tuner, it's only fair to expect you to back them up with evidence. You haven't.

Insta shed, you mean speed rush. Gtfoh ea. Pass rush is garbage. Every year one side of the dline gets shafted, and can never get pressure, usually the right end, which is usually your best pass rusher.

Ever since this tuner I have had really weird offensive shootouts. I don't know what to do with this game anymore. It's just seems like if I'm going to play default I need to lower the mins quite a bit or if I want s 60 min game I need to adjust some sliders to get realistic stats which is exactly what I don't want to do. I really hate the casual crowd ughh.

I get what a few are saying about the organic tackles being less now. I would have to play without the tuner again to get a better look though.

As far as everything else I just don't see the "nerfing" everyone is talking about. Go to my YouTube channel. The last two games where played with the tuner.

Both games our QB's had about 2-4 seconds to pass all game. I haven't seen any less pass rush.

We play head to head games with All Madden.

Our league average for week 2 (before the tuner was 3.6 sacks a team per game). Week 3 after the tuner 3.9

I'm still seeing wide open drops and contact drops.

We are seeing more defensive games. Better run d.

Still seeing plenty of sack fumbles and fumbles in general.

Guys are still missing a lot more FG's and extra points than madden 25-16

Some guys still had big rushing games. The guy I just played had 131 yards rushing against me.

My point is if we are talking feel and organic tackling stuff fine. If we are talking game breaking and nerfing of this or that I do not see the results on the field in head to head All Madden games. I can not agree with something I'm not seeing and have video of without seeing some proof from others.

The last game I played was great. I won 19-17. It was a defensive battle with fumbles, and lots of real FB and it took a lot of strategy and we play 13 min quarters to get about 64 plays per game per team.

Anyway. It's just my opinion but, I have two full games of proof.

They mean plays like that. Where some bum like Geno Grissom gets passed Tyron Smith (the best OL) in the league and it happened a lot per game. Like 5 or 6 times.

Highlights of the last game I played in our Online Franchise. Lots of variety. QB's got pressured all game. I'm just not sure what could be wrong with this gameplay.

Fumbles and sacks are wrong? Lol. Stiff animations are there with or without the tuner.

Not sure what your points are

I showed highlights post tuner. I'm on the side with those who like the game. I like it before and after the tuner. I'll just leave it at that. Both sides are starting to sound redundant. I'm just going to have to agree to disagree with some.

Hey folks, after last tuning update i'm having hard time trying stop the Agressive Catch. In my last two games (CFM Online, user vs user) i'm getting burn by WR too often in jump balls, even with double coverage. My opponents throw like 15 or more deep balls every game and their receivers catchs the ball almost every time...First game, vs Steelers, Martavis Bryant get 296 yards in 12 catchs. No matter what i try to stop (Swat ball, play receiver, play ball or simple no switch to CB), Bryant catch the ball almost every time against my top CB (Stephen Gilmore) with safety help on coverage. Next game vs Browns, similar results with Josh Mcown throwing to Josh Gordon, Terrelle Pryorn and Andrew Hawkins...Those 3 guys combined to 10 rec, 312 yards and 3 TD's with my opponent using the same 4 verts repeatedly.

It's very frustating see this...Even in snow game, in open field with wind, low rated QB like McCown making perfect deep throws for 50 + yds every time to receivers in double coverage and complete the pass 80% of the time. Other players have complaining about this after tuning update too. I want to know your opinions too, but for me, it feels like playing M16 again.
