Stat Overlay only appears for like 1 second. They need to make it stay longer.
Boring music and no custom music again..
playcall screen sucks

Jhey, the graphics do not suck on night games. Look beautiful on my tv day or night games. Lighting is better in day but nowhere near crappy graphics at night. Idk where that rumor started.

so far the only thing I really don't like is the responsiveness of the menus and the fact that regardless my 75 Mb/s of internet speed plus new faster console I still have to wait those 30-40 seconds at startup to load (a few kb of) rosters and the rest.

Played two games last night. One on All-Pro and All-Madden.I put the game speed to slow with 0 on the player min threshold, 15 min 15 sec run off.

HOLY **** did I have a blast!

This is truly different experience coming from last gen and even Madden 25. Graphically this game is stunning and the new presentation really adds to the immersion. We should have had the ability to change cameras on the fly along time ago. I really enjoy the defensive perspective camera.

The AI has seemed to stepped up their game. Defenses are more reactive and the CPU can actually run the rock! (i gave up 200 yds to stephen jackson on all-madden while getting whipped 49-0).

The new QB accuracy thing is fantastic even though it hurts a QB like my Titans have. With Jake Locker I couldn't attack down field hardly at all with him due to his inaccuracy down field. I had to stick mostly to 10 and under routes to get passes complete with him.

Running game feels great. You can't just spam the outside runs anymore.

The new play calling system would be a hell of a lot better if it took you back to the screen where you have "coach suggestions,formations...etc" instead of plays inside that formation you just called. This will take a lot of time to get used to if I ever.

Overall I'm incredibly happy with this release. This has potential to rival Madden 05 which IMO is the best Madden I've ever played.

Once I grab a fantastic slider set from one of the community members and the kickoff week rosters i'll be ready to go with my CFM.

This weightyness you guys are feeling, please let me know if its the same for defense. I'm not seeing it at all when my opponent is gliding across the secondary like Wayne Gretzky.

Sorry for being so negative about my impressions, but I was hoping this wwould have been eliminated by now. The contain controls for playmaker need to return, it does not work online as people are just running rampant abusing its non existance like when mike vick was on the cover.

Is anyone else seeing tight spirals ever time? It seems like every pass I've thrown has been a perfect ball with ZERO wobble.

Let me know if I'm going crazy here.

I noticed some wobbles yesterday for sure.

I like it so far. The gameplay is good. The game isn't perfect, no game is, especially since they only have a year of development time. However, if EA patches the Sim Stats and the Player Progression/Regression for the CFM, I'd be willing to claim Madden 15 as one of, if not the best Madden ever.

That's part of the particular QB's attributes. I created a QB who doesn't throw tight spirals, and by gum, he doesn't.

Man, I'm having a blast with this game. Playing against Seahawks is no joke. However I was able to beat them with 49ers at all-pro. Yes they have great defense but they are not perfect or flawless. I actually completed a curl route againts Sherman. The trick is passing the ball as soon as your WR starts to turn around.But it doesn't work all the time and your WR should be a good player or else he drops or can't catch the ball. The second time I tried it Sherman picked me off lol.

What I really don't like is that guys play 2-3 games then start to complain instead of stepping up their games. i.e passing is too tough and/or CPU run stopping is overpowered etc.
I would understand if CPU players were sliding all over the place to stop you or your +90 rated OLs couldnt create holes for you to run.
IMO all-pro difficulty is realistic as it gets and I really hope the EA doesn't dumb down the CPU defense.

My only gripe in terms of gameplay is that pocket passers like Manning and Brady, freeze when they don't find open guys.Thus resulting in too many sacks. Simple solution like throwing the ball away would be enough imo.
I moved Intentional Grounding penalty all the way down to zero. Still no luck.
I don't want to increase the CPU pass blocking slider. Bc it would give artificial boost to low rated linemen.

Hey Rex! Great job bro! My biggest pet peeve is how the overlays disappear before u can read them. Is this something that can get patched? You guys did a heck of a job but if we can't read them there's no point!!

the way the game is being called in real life NFL there is no excuse for this. I played 6 online ranked games and had one P.I. called for 4 yards and one clipping penalty. ARE YOU SERIOUS MADDEN IN TODAYS NFL their is a flag thrown every 5-10 snaps on avg.

Was actually just going to post something on this.

I made all penalty sliders 70, played a full game. I had 6 penalties for 88 yards. 1 was clipping on the kickoff return, and the other 5 were face mask. The CPU had 9 for 101. 1 was a false start, 8 were facemask.

So facemask is too high at 70, everything else is going to be bumped to 80 to see where they are after another game.

Overall an improved game and it's definitely a good effort from EA. I'll probably play it more than any other game this year. But, it's still good not great.

Couple things that really irritate me is not being able to skip first half of halftime show, not being able to skip the ref animation during penalties. They addressed the wait with skipping the coin flip and adding the chew clock feature on the play call screen. But during those solo challenges that you need to do in MUT to get precious coins the last thing I want to do is watch cut scenes. Don't get me wrong I like that they are there, but you should be able to speed it along if you want to in single player games.

The new playcalling screen is taking ALOT of getting use to. I hope they did this for improved efficiency (that I've yet to discover) and not just to jazz it up to look different. I've press the wrong play so many times!!! I'm sure it will grow on me but Why the change. If anything I would have made the old play calling screen more transparent so you could see the action on the field or a replay while calling your play etc.

Why won't Madden put the price you paid as well as accumulated stats on the MUT cards, without this info the cards just feel generic and not like they are "yours"...

What does coach mode look like for the ps4? Does the new tackling dynamic involve a noticeable change?

I have the PS4 version of Madden 15 and honestly it's a lot better then Madden 25. The presentation is a lot better this year with the halftime show and what I guess you could call a pre-game show. Defense is actually fun to play this year. You can make sacks a lot easier. The only thing I don't like about this game are the commentators. They say the same thing every year and it gets old real quick. I wish they would bring back Chris Collinsworth. The sidelines actually look good this year as well. All in all, I think this is definitely an improvement from Madden 25. Honestly, I think this is one of the best Madden games from EA.

I'm really enjoying Madden this year. I guess my only complaint so far, that I haven't really seen anyone talk about, is Jim Harbaugh's face....yikes....all of the coaches look fantastic this year, but Jim Harbaugh looks like a bad Dick Tracy villain. His face scan was actually better last year. Please forgive the fact this was taken with my cell:

i hope EA fixes the time limit you get to pick your defensive play, its too fast and i feel like im being rushed .

Just finished up my first night game and I have to agree. The graphics still look great. It is a little bit dark but nothing like what I was expecting.

Have to disagree 100% here.
Using the Steelers,I have been able to hit Bell on 50+ yard screens...sure I've had some blown up,but that's to be expected.
