The thing that kills me is the easy inside running game has been like this for 3 years and you can't fix it with sliders since the blocking slider are so weak and ineffective. I've debated how poor the DT play is and how they never shoot gaps to male tackles for loss and their line play guy Clint doesn't see an issue. I'm simply dumbfounded by it.

Just got a PS4 and Madden 15 yesterday and thus far I like it!

A little background is that I'm a coach mode/cpu vs. cpu player so I'll have to learn to play QB and at least not hurt my team. I play default all-pro and only throw passes for the QB and handle kicks!

Playing default All-Pro, Coach Mode in CFM, it is quite amazing to get stats that are in line with actual NFL stats playing full 15-minute quarters with 15 sec run off!

Hmmmm? I've tried that, many times. The main thing that always shows it's ugly face is HIGH QB Comp %. On default IDK how you are getting realistic stats. I can live with everything else, for the most part it's not way off but the comp % ruin that from what I've seen.

Well the Completion percentage is high but the game outcomes overall are VERY realistic. Now that I'm back on console, working full-time, and taking graduate courses I'm just going to enjoy the game for what it is. Right now, what it is for me is awesome sauce!

Scores, yardage (passing and rushing), etc. Just my opinion though. I'll take it for a 15 minute quarter game.

Just traded in my game towards the Order today at Gamestop. I will say this. After purchasing it for the 1st time in 7-years I feel the game is finally moving in the right direction from what I remembered it in the past. Even though there's still problems with the gameplay mechanics, I enjoyed the overall package and hope they improve and build upon it in Madden16.

Man....I've super sim'ed to end of like my last 4 CFM games.... My Jags are bad and now that their confidence is low I'm pretty much done for the season at 1-7. We can't move the ball. Can't stop anyone on D. Ben Tate almost broke the single game rushing record when we played Cleveland. Ha

Finally got to play Madden on Xbox 1 over the weekend, hoping to be really impressed. I need this game to be great if I'm ever going to move to the next gen consoles.

It just didn't do it for me. It's so similar to the 360 version and the graphics are just plain weird. The player models and animations seems off. Pretty frustrating. The gameplay did seem better than the 360 version but not by leaps and bounds.

The more I use and read about Game Prep, the more I like the game within the game. It adds value to working with players without being too much like NFL Head Coach was. Spend a couple minutes doing the simulation work (i don't do the actual drills) then get back into the game!

Glad to hear that! We will enjoy it.

The cpu doesn't use formations properly at all. They are oblivious to the down and clock a lot of the times. When I want to kill the clock they will have a dime package in on 3rd and 5 when I've got an I-formation out there. Dumb.

On offense the cpu makes almost no effort to get the ball in the hands of its playmakers. The cpu QB logic is exactly the same for every QB and ignores the talent level of the wide receivers around as well. That's why on the lower difficulty levels all the QBs stink and on All-Madden they are all over-powered. Other than adjusting accuracy and arm strength the passing games are nearly identical for every team. QBs take a crazy amount of sacks on screen and 4 vertical plays. I could understand rookie QBs but Brady? Awareness means nothing for cpu QB play.

It's rare in the NFL for a team to have a workhorse RB. Almost every team has packages for 2 or 3 RBs on their team but 98% of the touches in Madden go to the same guy unless he's tired. Only the 3rd down back role can change things. I'd like to see a short yardage role. I'd like to see pass catching backs like Sproles used better in the passing game. There needs to be more balance in the inside (too easy) and outside running game.

I don't expect them to fix much of the cpu AI for us offline guys since it's been so poor for so long and improves at a snail's pace.

My biggest issue with madden is whatever this bug is that causes you to do the daggum panthers-Seahawks intro again. I'm a panther fan and I hate it. What's more, you're not allowed to skip it. 😡

Hadn't posted this impression yet but after a little over a month it's a big one.

In-game saves, automatically at that, is a definite GO!!!

That is nice, but would be better if they just added a true in-game save feature ala NBA 2K and MLB The Show.
