NBA 2K15 MyLEAGUE Interview

We recently had a chance to interview Rob Jones, Sr. Producer Visual Concepts and Erick Boenisch, Sr. Producer, Visual Concepts to talk about a new mode for NBA 2K15 called MyLEAGUE, exclusive for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

Before we get into the interview, here is a quick rundown on some of the options. In a nutshell, it’s the Association Mode that we all know and loved on old-gen consoles, on steroids.

MyLEAGUE offers both a single season or up to an 80 year franchise experience. You will have complete control over every aspect of how your league plays out.

Every year it's the same thing :
Lot of people claiming they won't buy the game, they're done with 2K, they hear a bit of news on the game, get hyped, then the waiting game for the early release starts, more footage comes out, people salivating.
Game finally comes out. Early impressions almost positive, 1-2 weeks after the honeymoon is over, people getting fed up with the game.

This is just yet another slap in the face from 2k... We have communicated through the forums here to Chris Manning (LD2K) and when he does acknowledge there is a problem instead of ignoring us like usual he all we get is "it's been sent to the developers" and then it's never fixed. Needless to say.... I'll pass on buying this game

After reading negative comments after negative comments last year it's great to see 2K Sports back in the good graces of gamers. If history is anything to go by it's exactly where 2K wants to be.

This mode sounds really great, and I will play it, but online leagues need a HUGE overhaul and hopefully that happens. I'm still sad.
