The crazy part is, I thought the reason they had every EA Sports title share the same engine was to improve areas in each others games that the other was lacking. Yet, Fifa is the only sports title with an amazing and accurately reacting crowd. Like the first time I played the demo for Fifa 14 and saw how the crowd reacted to a goal, I was amazed. The crowd jumping and celebrating, the flags and sounds, the camera pans over them, the outside stadium shots with the city etc. No other sports game really comes close to me. Fifa actually had the "living worlds" they advertised every title was supposed to have.

Actually I do. There are plenty of posts in both forums where people said the screenshots looked better than the actual game.

Not sure where I said it would be??? Before responding I urge you to go through my previous comments with regards to Madden.

Not sure what overall means but yes I've been around here for a few years. Not sure what relevance that has either.

Just asked how people are forming conclusions on a game that isn't even out yet based on a few screens.

And as I said above, feel free to peruse through my previous posts about Madden before responding.

That will never happen. Every year you ask for it and it never happens. They are satisfied with the millions of customers who are ok with the animations and ai.

It amazes me that there can be so much critique (positive or negative) from just one tiny clip.

Which will never happen. Madden is seen as a juggernaut in gaming circles. No developer is interested in paying the nfl millions for a license only to get crushed in sales each year. Which is what was happening to 2k until they dropped the price of their game to 20 bucks.

I just want to see something. If we make it to July without seeing real gameplay I'll be very suspicious it's the same game with no real improvements.

Probably not making it to Tuesday without seeing real gameplay, it's been confirmed it will be playable at E3.

The animations looked unchanged, and at :42 seconds I can see some hunch-back action.

From what I could tell in short gameplay portion I did not see any changes either. Will have to watch it again on my laptop but from my small screen on phone, nothing new or exciting.

For those that keep asking how a game can be judged based on a short clip, think pro vs layman... A detctive seeing a murder scene vs a civilian. The civilian sees blood, a body and only knows someone was murdered. The detective sees the shape of the wound, direction of the blood splatter and knows how the murder happen in short order.

I'm not calling anyone pro or layman. I'm just saying some folks are looking for specific things than can be seen in a short clip. If you don't know or care about what CAN be seen, your opinion may be different or delayed.

I'm the "laymen" when it comes to stills. I'm looking at general detail. The Kaep flick looked spectacular to me. To someone that's familiar with his accessories, details of the 49er uni & knows what was in game last year might look at that same still and feel much different.

How many years did we judge gameplay trailers and say nothing much has changed based on what it shown? Compare that to the amount of years when we were absolutely correct in our judgment.

It's been pretty much every single year.

After watching the Madden Cover spectacle on ESPN it's obvious that we won't get what we want! It's either buy the game or not!

# 200 msdm27 @ 06/06/14 08:52 PM
After re-watching the trailer again, I think there is some hope for different player models.... #21 for the Panthers actually looks like a skinny/long corner... kinda like the body type Sherman should have rather than the bulky one from the pic with DT88.

Also.... What makes the issue with the gloves more maddening is.... is not like they have to design the new nike gloves.... they effin have them readily available from the NCAA series :/
