I was and still impressed with the Colin Kaepernick screenshot, but just not with the other three screenshots or the sample trailer. Again still impressed with the Colin photorealistic screenshot.

SIDE NOTE: Rugby challenge and MLB14 is not from 2K. I was also fairly impressed with EA UFC demo.

I remember finding this site so many years ago when the manifesto was made..anyway back to topic..You know what..year in year out..the same arguments are made..I see both sides of this argument (I have bashed and been excited) but you can almost replace this thread with one from last year, two years ago etc....We must all come to realize..that we must deal with what they give us..and use each other to make it best we can..because this is it.

That's a beautiful way to look at it. At the end, we are a community. And no matter what EA, 2K, SCEA, etc put out, we are community strong and full. And we come here in hopes of extending and increasing our sports gaming experience, sharing it with others as we go. So whether we bash or support, we take what we get. Nice job, SJH.

May point has been made. U r a online type if dude and Madden to u is fine because it caters to u. Now i do knw that they dnt follow us the real gamers because we would b like u r now head over heels in love with what they do year after year to this game. But yes there r so many like myself that go deep and like to follow my players careers and play seasons on in and play real football. They kan please us both but that just want happen till we have other companys making football games.

Looks on par to the kaepernick screen

This looks life-like IMO

Just a beastly move. Haven't seen it in madden before. If you notice watts jersey it seems to wrinkle up as he fights through. Clothing physics? Maybe..

Wish I could find the sproles portion of the trailer as the animations look very good, not stiff at all.. Players walking to their positions on the return all have different animations in that clip

# 228 johnnyg713 @ 06/07/14 02:53 AM
Here's the last gif. Honestly the slow motion and sped up parts take away from how it's going to look in real time. Wait until more footage from E3 before completely bashing the gameplay.

IMO it would look much better if they didn't try and dramatize the play but again it's a trailer to emphasize the defensive moves being done. Also that's a absolutely great tackle. Gameplay looks very solid in my eyes.

With regards to the "clothing physics".... Am I crazy or do the jerseys look like they've been washed and shrugged before the game? They look like they need a good ironing :P

They might have taken cloth movement a bit too far. hehe

PS: The Jaguars black on the jersey/pants looks very washed up... Almost greysh :/ I remember this used to be an issue for teams like the Spurs and Heat on NBA 2K, hope this doesn't happen in M15; Jags colors were correct for the uniforms last year.

Doesn't matter how big of a football fan you are, go play real football then or play something else. Purchasing the game only contributes to the problem. I've been Madden-free since Madden 08 and while it does suck to an extent not having a football game to play, especially one comparable to NFL 2k5, I still enjoy MLB The Show and NBA 2k in terms of sports games. Not to mention the other games coming out. Yes, you're being forced to choose between one football game and nothing, but no one is forcing you to buy it!
I can honestly say I will not buy this game, because I haven't bought a Madden game since Madden 12, because I was so disappointed I went back and bought Madden for the PS2. Right now I doing a few season of Madden 03 before I move on, and yes I know "why such an old game", but I have found more innovative features in the Old old gen games versus any new Madden put out, like in Madden 03 you have route passing, just hold down L2 and throw to the route not the receiver, a really nice feature. Every feature they claim is new or first time ever was done in their old games, NCAA 04 for example if you held sprint down right before the defender got there you would bowl him over, they had this in 2003 before the truck stick came out in 2005 for Madden 06. This is why I can say I wont buy this game because what the claim is new is really the old wash, rinse and repeat cycle. I'm not bashing but you can only be taken a fool for so long.

In my opinion, this pic is right on par with the Kaepernick screen. It looks very detailed.

Online gamers aren't real gamers?

That Chiefs double sack looks great. Kuechly's face mask is a little high but his player model looks vastly improved.

They should have never released that photo and just waited one more day for the trailer. I bet their would be way more positive reaction here in terms of the way the game looks.

Kaep photo or not, you probably weren't buying the game anyway.

What is your intention of putting a negative remark under each one of my observations?

Thats not my point at all. My point is Madden is made for play now mode and Turnaments so thats all of what im saying. There r alot of ppl of that play online that play offline and go deep in the game as well but its not made for that its necked inside the game and thats my thoughts on were they are at still in Madden. This stuff shouldve been on CG but here we r in M15 and i hope this is the year we the fans kan play football and b excited and see real time injuries gameplay and the Franchise Mode is deeper then ever before.

If NFL The Show was coming out, the only unhappy campers would be Xbox One owners. If NFL Fever 15 was coming out, the only people that would be unhappy would be PS4 owners.

Something tells me that the redesigned coverage mechanics are going to last about 2 weeks before the "popular crowd" floods EAs forums to complain about difficulty.

I remember they redid zone coverage for NCAA 12 and it was amazing out of the box. That didn't last long.

As usual, I will wait with cautious optimism. Hopefully we get some great gameplay videos soon.

Who knows, right?

# 240 andayaman @ 06/07/14 03:57 PM
The top screen is what you're getting in August.

The second two are what EA wants you to think you're getting. The enhancements are night and day in my opinion.

The funny thing is the Kuechly screenshots are blended into the trailer and many won't even notice. It's pretty shady if you ask me.
