Really like the demo, finally the AI is challenging! I've lost all my games on Heisman and its fun to lose sometimes. But it almost seems like some of the read option plays are too good. Does anyone know an effective way to shed blocks? The power/finesse moves from past ncaa games doesn't seem to work on run or pass plays.

....first game of the demo and the CPU runs a punt back on me for a TD. I'm sold. LOL

So far the passing game is just too easy for me. Passes over the middle and curl routes are the main culprits. I can come out in shotgun with 4 and 5 wide receiver sets and literally do nothing but pass to just march down the field with little resistance. My only hope now is that this is fixed around launch and/or the new fatigue system makes me pay by making my receivers and QB worthless by the second half if I do this in longer games.

This is on all different settings and many slider combinations by the way.

The Aggressive setting is your friend against the option...but not not so much against the pass

I second this would love to hear specifics from booker21. Also believe the past games are irrelevant

I enjoyed the demo , and really enjoyed the new coordinator camera

The game took a hit on the graphics but the game is smoother and im all for it. I really liked it and im looking very forward to the game when it releases.

They added plenty to the game that differs itself from 13. Nice Job

I've been using 20 on both HUM/CPU and getting fantastic results. All I've done thus far is:

Lower QBA to 20
Up INT to 60
Lower Pass Defense to 40

And let it fly. I've gotten some really good numbers that way, and I'm wishing I had written them down now. Plus, there are less animations where the CPU will just let an INT bounce off their hands. If the CB is in position, they usually make the interception. If they aren't, and the QB makes a good throw, the defense is punished.

The coordinator camera is tough on defense for me, but love it on offense.

I only played one game between OR/A&M on AA and it seemed to easy for me. Was able to tear up the defense with the short passing game. Kept A&M offense to a total of 180 yards.

I love the color of the game, graphics are beauty.

I've noticed that its somewhat easy to pass over the middle again. I haven't really messed with sliders, but I'm hoping it can be toned down a little.

Other than this, the game is awesome.

This is not a bug.
The Pass Lead Sensitivity is set at 50 by default which is not even half of the 127 scale that is used.

If you have an older copy, use Xan's editor and create a config off of your Profile save, then go to UINF tab and edit PSLS to 127 and UOPT tab and edit OPLS to 127.

You'll accomplish what you're looking for without slider adjustments.
The QB ratings affect both AI/HUM as well as more of an impact on the gamer because it depends on how you push the RS on the throw.

I've seen balls skip off the ground in front of the WR on 20 yrd wide field out throws because my QB arm strength wasn't strong enough to make the throw on a bullet pass.

There's alot of stuff that's not turned on or needs a value input to be used.
It's all in the Dynasty Editor thread.

Just dominated Ohio St. Was a pretty good defensive battle, but I am at the point now that I recognize formations & can shut down the option. Ohio St QB had no where to go all game. Every time he even attempted to cross the LOS I lit him up. But then again I guess it wasn't completely his fault, since I did knock their star WR and RB out of the game with injuries. Defensively I had 3 sacks, 2 INTs and 8 tackles for a loss. I made Michigan defense look like studs on Heisman.

Far as my offense, just pounded the rock for 3 quarters straight with the RB and FB. I must say using a FB and a big RB is very fun now. I was just trucking and stiff arming LBs and Safeties all game long. It was beautiful. Even triggered the stumble recovery a few times. 4th quarter I unleashed the read option, totally caught them off guard.

This will be the 1st year in a very long time I will look forward to dynasty. Recruiting nothing but bruiser Running Backs and Fullbacks.

If I tweak on slider for the next few weeks, will those translate well to the full game or could something change and I would have to start over?

I am guessing with the game coming out in 3 weeks, not much is going to be very different. Oh wait, until patches and tuners........ damn it!

Should I work on sliders now , tweak as patches come out, or wait till all patches and tuners are out?

After playing more I definitely see more flaws.

I'm nowhere near a new guy at NCAA games but I'm definitely not as good as a lot of you. I am playing with the default settings, and although I haven't lost a game I don't think passing is super easy. Its better than last years game though.

I also notice that they can almost always complete passes on the outside for a first down.

I wouldn't work on sliders until the season ticket early release comes out.

I was going to win on Heisman and then the cpu gets a lucky TD. no biggie, still up by 3 with under 2 minutes left. cpu goes for onside kick, my onside recovery team bends over at the waist and juggles the ball away to the cpu, I end up losing.

heh, can't even be mad I should know what to expect by now.

Anybody else think the acceleration burst needs to be a little more dramatic? Feels just like last year. I wanna see the jets turn on.

Yes. I see a difference, but not much.

Loving the demo, but does anybody else feel that the animations play out a little too much? Like I've seen a ton of times when more then one player could jump in on the tackle, and the animation just plays out instead and the extra guys just kinda bounce off the runner like there's still the force field there.. Quite annoying bc I've seen some good chances for pile ups and hang tackling and each time the animation just plays thru and the other tacklers bounce off and don't grab on or cause impact.

Unfortunately, the more I play the demo, the more bugs and glitches crop up. The latest of witch is the "DB Glitch" where I passed the ball deep and the CB ran with the WR, and right before the ball gets there, the CB turns and runs towards the LOS, then when the WR catches the ball he turns around and gives chase, albeit too late.

Some other glitches:

Floating ball in endzone after scores
IE decides ball carrier is not down after hitting the ground (so he gets to keep running lol)
AI Center stands over ball but never hikes it...let's playclock run down
Commentators say I should have thrown the ball away when I throw it away
Playcall screen lags to the point I cannot call a defense play when the AI no huddles
