Had that bug that people mentioned where I got an INT defending my own goal line (was at my own 7 yard line) and it was reviewed. After the review went in my favor the other team took the ball over at the spot.

Heisman seems to be the way to go though, having competitive games. That bug though is pretty bad.

"* I was playing against Ohio State. With 2:01 left in the first half, OSU calls timeout. Plenty of time left, no need to burn a timeout."

This has been happening for years now.

yup. This happened to me as well while playing Texas A&M/Oregon. I tweeted at EA's NCAA Football account to bring it to their attention. Not that this will do any good... considering I tweeted at them constantly last year about posting a pic of awesome uniform deterioration, but never seeing that in the game. (still aggravated about that...).

Regarding real life, I don't believe the Pac was really regarded for their defense this past year. Sure, Stanford, U of A and ASU were okay, but nothing to write home about. I'm sure Oregon is salivating every year when they draw up their offenses.
Just to shed some hope here... I have not been successful running any shovel option play yet. The CPU has covered it up on both occasions that I ran it.

This is scaring me

By the time I get the game on the 9th, I'm hoping we'll know if that bug is in the retail release or not. (With some people doing the EA season ticket, plus those who get their hands on it early)

I don't think I can begin my dynasty in earnest if a bug like that is still present. I can and will overlook a lot, but I'll have to wait for a patch if there's a major bug.

Are you talking about the one where it seems like the two players are fighting back and forth? Like, the offensive player is continually trying to push the defender off him?

It feels like a locked animation. Like, it's set up to have only two outcomes.. the offensive player gets away or the defender pulls him down (or fights until they go out of bounds).

I haven't noticed any other players being able to jump into the animation, either.

Ya that's what I'm talking about. I could have swore if a defenders comes in at the right angle it breaks up the animation sometimes, but other than that you are right you're forced to watch something play out.

Still they look pretty cool lol

The Demo played out great so far for me. Obviously I noticed a few glitches here and there but the overall experience was good.

The only thing I'm worried about is the offline dynasty...the biggest change between the last two Maddens was how much they messed with offline dynasty (like of customizations, connected careers, etc.). I just hope that the offline dynasty doesn't change from last year's version (which I loved). I know about the new recruiting point distribution and the RPG element to coaches, but I hope that's all they changed...Any idea about this guys?

I think the running game and the offensive line are the most improved features of the game. I love the control you have over your back and the O-Line seems to work as a team instead of by themselves. Also, it does look better and I love the new simplified option system and the acceleration burst system.

One major thing that I can say I'm pleased with is that I noticed no suction blocking at all. They said last year they took it out, but it was obviously still there. I've had a few plays where I've gotten to the quarterback in which last year I would have been sucked into a blocker that didn't even have an angle on me.

I wonder if there will be a day one patch and if there is, I wonder if they will tell us what it fixes.

Infinity engine still looks bad on tackles. Players collide and go down separately like bowling pins. I don't see any wrapping up or dragging to the ground.
