Liked the feel of the Gameplay. Audio Presentation needs to be totally redone, it does not represent the College atmosphere at all. The Presentation both visual & audio seemed less than what it was from last years version.

Will wait & listen to impressions of the game after it is released. Maybe there is more to the over all presentation when in Dynasty mode?

Expectations were low but NCAA 14 seems very promising. Running feels a whole lot smoother, and the running animations look better as well. Except in replays the running animations look like NCAA 13, but that's fine.

This will be my football game of choice this year. No Madden for me.

Demo - 8.7/10. Crowd could be more into it, though.

The Demo has me coming back after refusing to pay EA after the broke NCAA 11 I dropped $60 on a few years ago. My real worry is progression and recruiting logic in dynasty. How was it in 12 and 13? In 11 AI teams were recruiting 9 QBs in a class and crazy crap like that. So after about year 3 it was awful with Qbs playing TE ect.. Oh and kickers who cant make extra points. It was a broke game to me. Was all that garbage still present in 12 and 13? If so I might be passing on 14. I am a single player dynasty nut.

I really hope the retail version gets a huge boost in presentation.. This is pathetic..

I didn't play next gen until 12. I'm now playing 13 and progression & recruiting seem fine. The only thing I notice is that FB's available are messed up with regard to their star ratings.

I play offline dynasty exclusively. I've begun my 12th year in 13, and team ratings and progression are good. In past versions, certain unlikely teams (North Texas, ex) would grow into perennial powerhouses. Although Ark St won the NC last season, they did it as a "B" team upsetting an "A" Ohio State. Some of the better consistent programs in my dynasty include ND, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Ohio State, Wisconsin and Oregon.

I may be in the minority, but I've been generally pleased with 13. (Blocking overall & suction blocking are stinky)

I'm very excited with the prospect of 14. It looks like they've made many improvements.

If you guys saw my last post about the games I played you saw that I smashed A&M with Oregon 49-0. I played last night and they played a lot better against me. I still won, 31-28. I hope this is showing that the same can happen in dynasty mode. That any team can come in and play really well that week and possibly pull an upset. I like that I simply didn't crush them again.

Thanks for the solid response. Any kicking issues with the AI? Also if anyone else wants to chime in and assure me progression and Rec AI have been fixed that would be great.

Not true....I have played a ton of NCAA 13 and they will take the kick sometimes (it seems to be more matchup dependent)

Wish there were instant replays & saved clips w/ this demo...I'd show y'all all kinds of OSUs jock straps left on the field after a HB run...lmao

Thought I'd throw in a little more, since you are looking for kicking info.

About once a season, I'll run into a team that must have Kicker issues on their roster, because they'll go for it on 4th down, when it's an easy medium or short FGA situation, and the game conditions don't warrant going for it. I guess I am too lazy to look at their roster but I know something must be up with that.

Otherwise, the CPU kicks fine. Just finished a game a few moments ago where WV had a 48 yd FG, and every once in a while they get a 50+ on me, so I'm pretty satisfied with my sliders for CPU kicking. So, there may be a slight roster issue with kickers, but it's not a severe issue with me.

(note: I'm still referencing NCAA 13 as the poster was inquiring about more recent versions)

Since I hadn't really played NCAA in a couple of years I don't know if this was an issue, but it sure is nice to be able to get sideline interceptions. In Madden, anything close to the sideline would just bounce off the defenders hands every time.

I'm glad my Season Ticket is active because I've been playing the heck out of this demo. I'm ready to get my hands on the full version of the game. Offense on Heisman and Defense on All American seems to be the sweet spot for me now.

I think the gameplay is finally heading in the right direction. I can't be biased I have seen a lot of improvements. However the presentation elements of the game are still far behind the standard of what we should be getting by now The running animation still needs a complete overhaul.

Haven't paid full price for a day 1 ea football purchase since ps2 days (NCAA 2004, Madden 2005, etc.)

This game delivers though--it feels night and day better than most football games this generation.

The physics 2.0 adds a lot to the feel of the game. The players seem to have weight/momentum. When I have the ball and run into other players, I'm not bouncing off everybody like im playing pinball. It's nice.

NCAA Football on ps3 is a decent game ever year, but I think NCAA Football 14 has the potential to be a great game. Infinity Engine 2.0 makes the game feel more like real football and the force impact system is a great addition

I agree completely..Presentation is still dull and doesn't immerse you into the game...

Although it's not perfect, the strides they took to include the ESPN-inspired intro and camera angle is great. I also love the stat-overlays (especially the 3rd quarter one with plays, yds etc.)

Again, still far off, but they definitely took a step forward. It's also great hearing Seven Nation Army after a big play and the stadium is rocking.

As far as gameplay -- Just, wow. I didn't think infinity would add much, but wow. Games feel a lot more dynamic, QB AI is terrifying at times because of how dangerous they are and the game is just a blast. I'm sort of terrified of what will happen to my time when rosters and a great slider set come out. The only thing that could screw this up is trademark EA bug (crossing fingers!).

Day one purchase for me.

This is the first EA Football game which doesn´t feel arcadish at all and that was the biggest flaw for me over the last years! Finally i can enjoy it and don`t have to play 2K5 all day
Unfortunately the full game will be not available in Europe (Xbox360) but i hope Madden 25 goes the same way!

Slider are nice to have to make subtle changes to the game. But the biggest leap in gameplay will ultimately come from player ratings edits not sliders.

For example there would be no need to touch the QBA Slider if passing ratings were done more appropriate on a ratings scale.

Just by looking at Team Builder there is an absurd amount of backup QB's with NFL Pro style Throwing power and Accuarcy ratings.

Why is it such a crime to have college kids rated in the 70's or below for arm strength and accuracy????

That doesn't even take into the account the actual starters for each team being assigned inflated ratings....

But my point is simply tweaking the passing slider isn't going to separate the type of completion's or incompletion's you see in the game because way too many players at the QB position have similar or duplicate passing ratings assigned to them at the games release.

I think way too often as fans of the series we rely on sliders to fix gameplay issues. I believe it should be the other way around and the ratings should dictate as much stuff as possible on the field.
