Has anyone else missed field goals on Heisman difficulty? I've personally missed a few, which is kind of cool because I'm usually automatic in every football game. I've had some that didn't even come close.

I just played Alabama and the game was scoreless with seconds left in the 4th. I was kind of amped up because I was about to get a shutout, but I hit the goal post on a 40 yarder with time expiring. I ended up winning in OT though, so it was all good.

I'm really liking the demo. I've played maybe 10 games on heisman level with everything else default and have had some great games. I'm probably 4-6 or so but I was in just about every game right up till the end.

Pros - CPU offense is tough to stop. Hallelujah!!
User and cpu run game / option game is great
Blocking is 100 times better for CPU and user
I am not able to get any money plays to work repeatedly like before
Infinity 2 is awesome
Cons - I'm completing too many deep passes vs anyone except Bama
CPU has ran the clock on itself late in games when trailing a few times
^i remember last years demo doing this but retail didn't
Commentary is getting stale but after the terrible Gus Johnson fiasco that was madden 12 (I think) I'm really fine with them leaving it till next gen
Demo needs to be more minutes. It's hard to play a sim style game with 3
Graphics are pretty weak. The potbelly weirdos wearing #00 on the sideline just make me smh every time I see one.

Overall I really like it and its a for sure release day purchase at my house! Excited to fire up the OD with my boys!

Cpu playcalling is pretty bad in the demo. Using only the Triple Option with Oregon, on Heisman difficulty, I ran for 419 yards on 40 carries with 6 touchdowns. Obviously, the cpu didn't adjust its playcalling all that well to the one offensive play I was calling.

Definitely agree on the commentary. I'm sure I heard that they implemented some type of new tech that allowed the commentary to branch off and be more dynamic. Wonder what happened to that? I haven't noticed anything different with the commentary.
Hopefully commentary has been limited due to it being a demo. I have heard many different lines of commentary though

Had a game last night on Heisman as Michigan. Set up a last second 29yd FG to put it into overtime and the CPU iced me...........hit the left pylon...I was initially upset, but then smiled.

Anyone? I know I'm not cool enough to have my avatar picture up yet

But still. Lol...

Hope a dev sees this because I really like the Zoom camera but there's a pretty significant problem with it.

The Zoom camera doesn't zoom out on playaction passes like it does on standard passes. It treats PA passes like a run and limits your field of view to the 1/3 of the field directly in front of you.

I love the way it puts you in the trenches on runs, and gives you a slightly more realistic view of how the players on the field see the game. If they could just program the camera to recognize PA passes and zoom out like normal, then it would be perfect for me.

It's awesome. No more nano blitz cheese. So many abuse the ability to move players around so its great that they changed that

Damn hailmary **** getting on my nerves. The cpu completes the pass 50% of the time against prevent defense.

I think ea was a little limited for the sideline players and crowd. This should'nt be a problem come next gen. I agree on most of your comments though.

Interesting though, I noticed it was much easier for the home team to complete slants as the visitors DB's were typically a step slow to react. Vice versa as well, the home team's DB's were cat quick and shadowed a few slants nicely.
Hum qb accuracy at 5. That's about it.

That's my issue with that camera...

Just played Bama vs TAMU on default AA. Won 28-0. I swear I can play better on AA than on varsity! Lol

I also got a pick six with a linebacker.

I can't wait for July 9.

Does anyone know, I assume they are doing midnight pick ups at GameStop...

I only played a half so far as Texas A&M.

Cons
1. It's way too easy to get a perfect jump every time on Oregon's Hurry Up.
2. The second flick of the trigger for kickoffs didn't register on two of my three kickoffs (the reason I got pissed and shut the game off after the second half kick-off).
3. I had a linebacker warp through Mariota.
4. Almost every play had the "falling forward trying to regain your balance" animation. It could be programmed like that for us to see it, but I doubt it.

Pros
1. It felt like weight mattered. I took a defensive lineman and tried to run around in circles in a zone and you could tell it was a struggle for him.
2. Kickoff blocking. I returned the opening kick-off of the game back for a touchdown after a monster block from one of my players on the outside.

The score was 10-7 me whenever I shut it down.

I haven't had trouble with any of these.

I have seen the runner stumble forward before, but only if I held the right stick
Forward too long.

I should have clarified that in my post. That was the CPU the I seen falling forward in the animation almost every time, not my players.

Now that's weird...

One thing I think is over done is that I see to often in the demo is the stiff arm animations.

They look cool but seem to negate any other defender that should effect the play. It doesn't happen every time but looks weird when you have 3 extra defenders that can't effect the tackle sometimes.

I've always been a varsity player. But I just got done playing two games on AA and really loving it. I was Bama and beat VT 28-0, then played as Michigan and beat OSU 10-3.

The Michigan/OSU game was awesome. A scramble with Devin Gardner turned into a fumble and OSU ball. They drove down to the goal line but threw a pick in the end zone to seal the deal.

This is going to be the best NCAA game of all. I'm loving it.
