I tried a Zig route against a Cover 2 and it was intercepted.

I've noticed that the CPU never chooses to receive the opening kick. They'll win the coin toss and defer every time. Anyone else seeing this?

Teams almost always decide to kick the ball in real life, so I don't have much of a problem with it.

The only bad thing I've noticed about this demo is how buggy it is. My 360 demo doesn't even work anymore and the PS3 demo is filled with all types of weird bugs. I hope the retails are much better.

I won't have a chance to play the demo this summer and can't get the game when it is release if I get it I will get in early August.

This game looks like the same game from what I have read and what I have read on the EA website. A few small improvements in dynasty and maybe a new menu look. But it doesn't look at-least from reading it that game play has changed much.

one thing they will have is draft class export, I missed this in 13 and this would be the only reason I would get it this year along with madden 25.

another thing if this game has the same freezing issue that 13 had I will refuse to buy this game.

I wonder why on some xbox's the demo doesn't work, but on others it runs fine? Seems like this is a widespread problem. Hopefully the retail version works fine. What type of xbox do you own? I have a 250 GB slim and have had no problems running the demo.

Played another game on heisman, this time I used Alabama. I won 17-0, completely shutting down the Hokie offense.

Some stats for the CPU offense:

- 20 offensive plays
- 2 interceptions
- 1 pass deflected
- 1 sack
- around 4 hurries (estimation since there is no documented stat)
- 27% completion percentage (3 completions and 11 attempts)
- 16 passing yards
- 0-5 on third down
- 9 rushes for 42 yards, 4.7 avg (QB - 4 attempts for 23 yards, 5.7 avg and a long of 20 yards. HB - 5 attempts for 19 yards, 3.8 avg and a long of 16 yards)
- 3:57 time of possession

It's absolutely wonderful to see the teams play like they do in real life, even on heisman. The NCAA 14 Alabama defence is every bit as stifling as the real Alabama defence.

I dl for both systems, have past 3 years on xbox, I'm loving the colors on the ps3 demo they really pop on my plasma, but when I'm on defense and the offense is in no huddle I don't get enough time to choose a play, audible, or change players, it seems to hang to load play selection screen. On the Xbox demo I have yet to have this happen, just wondering if this is common for others or perhaps my system itself.

I didnt like how the no huddle offense are in ncaa and madden. They should wait a.bit more. Qb should look at sidelines do more signals to their players. In real life no huddle offense takes more than 5 seconds to snap the ball. In this game most players get their play telepathically.

It's been posted maybe 1001 times. And again, this was not a problem on the E3 build.

Figured I'd finally register rather than continually lurking...

Some thoughts:
- Gameplay seems really smooth. Like it a lot. Wanting to find some reason to not get the game since I'm getting a next-gen system at launch and it won't play on it, but struggling with that. I'll probably break down and buy it.

- Still no surprise onside kick? I know this would probably be spammed like heck but it would be really nice. You could even have different kickoff coverage formations where one or two guys stay up closer to watch for it.

- Seems like defenses get gassed, and it's pretty cool. I played as Michigan and couldn't stop Braxton Miller, but my offense was awful in the first half. Score was 7-3 OSU at halftime. After the break, I finally started moving the ball better, and I forced OT after a 10-10 tie where I made the game-tying TD in the 4th quarter.
- I scored on the first OT possession fairly easily despite having a lot of trouble with OSU's defense earlier in the game, then Miller got a TD in one play. OSU then took the first possession in 2nd OT and again scored very easily. I took possession and managed a TD after 5 or 6 plays, then decided to go for 2 because I knew my defense would never stop OSU. OSU's defense seemed confused and I had an easy time scoring, and won 25-24. It was pretty cool.

- I've been successfully running pitch options. I had some success in '13 but they seem to work better now. However, I noticed something odd - most of the time, the RB gets receiving stats for the pitch rather than rushing stats. And the QB gets passing yards for the pitch. Isn't it supposed to be a lateral and not a forward pass? I didn't read the whole thread so I don't know if anyone else mentioned it.

All in all, really run.

Im liking this demo and its making me want more yeah i knw its the little things that will take this game to the level. But this isnt the final build and they've added stuff this year thats making this years game more playable. I kant wait to go look at the past history of all the teams to get a better feel on The team im going to start my Dynasty with .

Default Varsity, I CRUSHED Texas A&M with Oregon...

Attachment 61776

Then played a very close game with Alabama barely beating Virginia Tech (I scored with 0:10 left to win)

Attachment 61777

In the Oregon game had an awesome 73-yd TD run. Ran the ball really well. Six total touchdowns with Mariota.

The Alabama game I did okay, but could run at all with TJ Yeldon.

Saw a cool cut scene of Marcus Mariota drinking a drink and talking to another player. That was pretty cool.

Really liked the gameplay, but wish that they made the demo a full game with all modes that was only playable for a certain amount of time so that we could get a feel for all of the new features.

Man I really hope the glitch where the CB stays in his zone until a scrambling QB gets to him. Not good.

I just played an A&M gave versus Oregon and the Oregon safety made a really nice pick on me. I had my WR running free on a go, but I misread the defense (it was a zone), put too much air under the ball, and the safety made a great reaction and came over and snagged it at the perfect time. It definitely wasn't a psychic DB. I skipped '13, so this a a day one buy for me.
