I want them to make a QB kneel that comes with an animation of the QB tossing the ball to the ref and jumping into his RB's arms in celebration.

And penalty flags visibly being thrown by refs.

I think a kneel down inside of 40 seconds when the opponent has no timeouts should produce an ending set of cutscenes of the winning team celebrating, coaches going to shake hands, etc

I'm absolutely amazed that this thread hasn't turned into people finding "game breaking" problems with the demo. Usually by this time after the demo has released, some people have played 100-200 games of the demo and those kind of things start to pop up. Not so this year (yet?). Perhaps we are going to get that great NCAA Football game we've wanted for the past 6-7 years........

Oh there's a few.

I'm liking the demo for the most part. I would like to see more defense. I know the teams in the demo are high octane offenses, but to me it's a little unrealistic. I'm sure a good slider set would help a lot.

I hear you. I'm really enjoying the demo, and keep vowing not to visit this thread because it's usually an epic dumpster fire by now.

I love the demo so far, I've been comparing it back and fourth with NCAA13. The only thing I'm not liking about the demo is it seems to move at a way slower pace than previous games, it feels like players are casually jogging even when I use the burst.

trying to get a feel for user pass rush (I always manual control DE/OLB) can some one give me a break down on the pass rush moves with the stick?

Also Im hearing that you can power/bull rush the OL this year with success, can anyone explain how they acheive this and how well can you speed rush the OL?

Thanks

Finally downloaded the demo earlier this afternoon. Love what Im playing so far. Been playing on AA and went to double OT vs Bama in the first game. Lost after I went for it on 4th from the 1. Bama then took a shot to the endzone and scored the TD. Played another and beat Michigan 17-14.

The foot planting and cutting/juking is very nice and a pleasant surprise really. Interceptions feel very smooth as well. Just looks and feels natural. Just can't get enough of cutting through defenders in between the tackles.

Played four games on heisman difficulty (2-2 record)

I'm really liking the demo. The improved physics engine is awesome, the players move well, and the game looks nice. It is definitely a step above NCAA 12 (I didn't play 13).

Some specific notes...

- I was actually able to bull rush effectively.
- Run blocking AI is sweet. The Off Tackle play (shotgun) doesn't get blown up immediately, every single time.
- CPU breaks way too many tackles.
- The CPU option is almost unstoppable but I like trying to defend it.
- I have to start using the juke/stiff-arm functions because they work for me. I didn't bother using them in NCAA 12 because they provided nothing special.

Love it, might pick it up.

The bull rush is the best it's ever been. Loving the new position specific hot routes

running/blocking/physics are improved... defense/passing/AI are not. Heisman is BS as usually... CPU catches too many picks while my players drop all of them, LBs in man make plays on the ball when they are 10 yards behind the WR smh. All I know is default Heisman is a steaming pile of crap (I guess that's what sliders are for)

I generally play as the FS or SS on defense since being a DL was useless in past iterations. I tried playing as the RE in the demo as Orgeon for a few plays just for the heck of it. First play I got pattycaked to death and about gave up but the second play I was able to swim off and put pressure on QB and on third play I somehow (no idea) generated a bull rush and pushed the OL straight back into the QB. Didn't affect his throw I don't think but I have never seen that before in an EA game, at least not as a user controlled player.

I didn't really notice the hot routes until I played through the skills training stuff last night and hit the hot route tutorial. Pretty awesome that they are position specific now. Great addition indeed.

The more I play this demo, the more I really enjoy it. The running is better, blocking is by far better, the infinity 2 engine does seem alot smoother than the original in Madden last year. All around, I'm very impressed.

I am a little irritated with one thing though... I'll be in Alaska on a cruise when the game is released so I wont be able to actually play it until the 15th

It definitely has good feel. Im' always worried about typical launch bugs that take months to iron out though. Especially when they add a new engine and stuff. I remember the infamous pump fake bug that took months to fix for NCAA 12. OF course people always find exploits in any new game. As long as nothing really bad though I think this has potential. I wish the graphics of the players was a bit better, I'm always wanting their uniforms and stuff to look better, but they still too much like a video game IMO. There is no organic life on the sidelines. I want players and cheerleaders bustling on the sidelines and cameramen walking around... added touches like that..just visual touches like that can make a difference regardless of great the game plays. Make it feel like a football game even off the sidelines! If that makes sense! E.A. has always lacked with this. I'm also really tired of hte same generic fight songs that they have been using since the PS2 games instead of the actual college marching band fight songs. More chants too. But hopefully we can still use our custom soundtracks. I didn't see any mention of it on the demo.
