The problem is that while it work it doesn't have a Happy medium. 0 is too inaccurate and 5 is too accurate.

Anyone surprised that Awareness isn't a part of the receiver breakdown when you hold R2 and press a receiver button? And, I'm assuming that Route running probably compares to a defender's man/zone coverage rating depending on their assignment (that's the only ambiguous one I see, the rest are pretty clear). That confusion should clear up once we see ratings in the full game and can do some simple math to figure out what the opposing rating is.

That one thing aside, I love that addition. Would like to see it for the front 7 too, so we can finally put to rest how the offense/defense ratings interact.

Enjoying demo. Running and option game are a ton of fun. Only problem that I noticed is that the stat banner pop ups stopped working in a few of my games. They work fine in the first half but in a few games they stopped working altogether in 3rd and 4th Q- no yard gained on play, no cumulative stats for player, nothing. Once they stop they never come back in that game

May have been after running a handful of no huddle plays, but not sure.

This is annoying because I really like the pop ups. Hopefully just a demo thing. 360 if that makes a difference

Anyone else had this happen?

In regards to that, I've seen (and his name is slipping my mind right now) the impact player on OSU dominate while I'll watch the same position for Michigan and see much less of an impact. It's hard to say anything for certain right now, but there seems to be more differential than before.

Demo lags like crazy

Those of you seeing lag or slow down must be on PS3. I used to play NCAA on PS3 and it was mind numbing how slow menus were and the lag between cut scenes and the play call screen. Moved to 360 and all of that ceased to exist with the additional benefit of better graphics.

The lag between the cut screens an playingcalling is bad but I expect it to be better by lunch so I'm not worry like everybody with a PS3 is

The only thing i don't like about the game is the intros. But i can skip over that and play the best EA football game on this generation of consoles.

Seems like you've given them a rather short timeframe, 15ish hours by my estimate.

Looks like zone blitz works right this year. Sorry for my opponents.

Off to church, but I just got a "Defensive PI" on a goal line fade.

Decided to play without the Fatigue off and players seem to have more burst to me.

Got my QB Acc at "0" and just threw a lob deep to open down field with no one around for a good 25 yrds, then took control of WR and was able to break away from route to actually run into a diving catch.

Got my tackling down to 20 for both, with Run Defense maxed.

Man the AI RB's with Fatigue off is "Beast" (in a good way).

Seems like the more I play this demo, the more I like it. Really really good

Loving how smart the AI is now. A game on varsity really feels like I'm being challenged against a powerhouse team.

and while some may be impressed that the QB scrambled off the 4 verts for the first down, a pocket passer in the full game will force it for the pick 10 out of 10 times....

sad to say the playcalling isn't fixed, its worse in many regards, the cpu has gotten better at executing bad plays from bad playcalling...

playing against the AI is like playing some fool online, someone programmed the cpu to either call a screen or 4 verts on every 3rd and long....

its not hard ea just change the frequency of the screen and 4 verts to 1%... and crank up the AI punt ability

i am thinking of a provocative title for a thread about this 4 verts AI mess ea needs to hopefully see this...

this issue alone makes me not want to spent more than $30 for this game or else its a day 1 buy.....
That is disappointing to read. My biggest pet peeve from last year's game.

Could be why the game looks better overall.

I played the demo and it was different than past year's but it seems that everyone wants this year's game to be a major improvement so bad that they have convinced themselves that it is - I'm not so sure yet.

I think the physics engine is enough of a culture shock that it makes the game play differently. But there are some similarities, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Based on what? How do you quantify this? Especially given the short time frame.

Based on the amount of time playing the demo. Besides this was the case as NCAA 2012 and NCAA 2011. 2013 had a bug that make qb still accurate even at 0.

This won't work different as the demo shows it s the same as before versions.

2012,2011 and 2013 are irrelevant to this discussion.

Still didn't answer the question, how do you quantify this? What's too accurate, and what's not accurate enough? What metrics did you use?
