You could still have upsets if ratings mattered heavily IF they were rated correctly. Because at the end of the day, it still comes down to calling the correct plays at the right times.

The problem is with default rosters that ship with the game you have too many players on big name schools over rated, regardless if that person didn't even play a down the year before.

Then you have the smaller schools who are given 40s and 50s across the board regardless of the fact that they are an all american player and an impact player for their team.

however with the ratings the way they are, upsets are not really upsets.. people expect UAB to beat Alabama...

If upsets can happen in real life then they should be able to happen in a game with realistic ratings.

Oh please let it be somebody that know how to play the game, playing the game when they are capturing it. Last year it was Ben playing against some editor forgot what website he was from, but that guy couldn't play for crap, therefore you couldn't see what they were trying to show off because of the guy didn't know how to play. He was dropping back 20 yards and throwing up hail marries every play.

They'd save themselves a lot of time if they would just show CPU-CPU footage.
