Anyone knows how to go to an up and under from standing still without being posted up. The CPU does it all the time. In 2k twelve it was LT and flick flick here I just can't find the command.

Only problem is that I found (solely because I wanted to let the AI score) that when the AI gets a steal, if LeBron starts sprinting down the court and Wade has the ball for example. If I take the guy that was running with LeBron and turn around and sprint straight at Wade and then hit the steal button when I'm very close to Wade, a lot of times Wade will try to throw the ball down the court to the open LeBron and instead just toss the ball straight to me. Hopefully this is just because it's on Pro and it's a demo though lol, but I've done it like 10 times now because it's an easy way to get the ball back to work on my offense in the demo.

D. Wade and Lebron attack relentlessly! They really play authentically. I swear if I see D. Wade do moves like this against me I'll pass out. (start at 2:42)

That looks just like the dude I played ball with today. Put on a dribbling display for 20 seconds, get nowhere while I stand in the corner open clapping while he jacks up a contested floater over 3 people.

I haven't even downloaded the demo. Not because I don't wanna play, but because I want the full game to be that much more exciting when I get it. Besides, the fact that not only is it a typical 2k demo, you have to restart from the main menu, plus numerous people have said it's more sluggish than the retail. What's 9 days anyway?

i'm definitely noticing something with the defensive locomotion that is throwing it off. this is an issue that did not exist in 2k11, but seems to have popped up in 2k12 for some reason.....it has to do how my man rotates his body in relation to the ball handler as I move around the court. If I remember correctly, in 2k11, if you were controlling a defender he would automatically turn his body to face the ball handler at all times (even if you were controlling an off-ball defender)...this felt very natural and put you in the best position to bump and cut off the ball handler...but in 2k12, this has been altered somewhat, and my player often does not rotate his body properly to face the ball handler...so the defender I'm controlling is awkwardly angling his body away from the ball handler at times, thus allowing him to drive by me....it also makes it more difficult to contest shots because if the ball handler decides to shoot when my guy happens to turn away from from him, i'm obviously not in a good position to contest the shot. this makes playing on-ball defense more difficult and more frustrating than it should be.

Also, regarding defensive locomotion...directional changes still feel a bit slow when controlling defenders...it still feels like it takes a bit too long for a guy to plant his feet and change direction. This is something that has been a bit of an issue in the nba 2k series for a while: offensive players always feel quicker and more responsive, while defenders seem to be hampered by delayed directional changes and slugglish, inconsistent control.

once again, 2k has made me not want to play on-ball defense because they just can't get the responsiveness right for defensive control.

agreed blue...you put it better than me...I was gonna start a thread on this...im a little worried about defense...

seems the d didnt get as big as a boost as the offense did...

I LOVED playing d in 11, i hope this stays true for 12

I LOVE the blocks by LBJ and Wade against big men, looks just like their real life counterparts..

They get HEIGHT on their blocks.

Yes getting sick and tired of this broadcast cam lol! Give me my 2K cam man! I seriously cannot play on this camera at all.

I would love to have a conversation with the people who decide what goes in the demo. And ask why they choose to leave out camera angles and play every year...

I must admit I'm getting tired of the demo. I need plays, just cheesing around all day gets boring.

I would think it should be expected that people would tire of any demo; don't think they're designed to feel fresh or offer tons of replay value after 1-2 weeks. That said I'm still playing the demo multiple times a day and still seeing new things practically every game. The montage that plays before games just hasn't gotten old to me; it's very well done. And I love the system of movement and the way the players interact; again seems like I'll see something new every game. Love the distinction between the players: both Wade and Lebron are aggressive, but distinctively so. Some of the drives and finishes I've seen both do seem remarkably life-like and true to either person (no replay so can't fully appreciate the finishes).

Overall the demo still has my appetite whetted for the full version of the game, it's still pretty addicitive for me. Haven't picked up 2K11 the past week. Can't believe we have a week-plus wait for the full version still. Probably best to wait and release a demo a week before the full game to prevent over-analyzing or burnout.

Seeing as 2k has really done great work on having the stars stand out and take over games like they should, Im anxious to see an elite PG like CP3 or D Rose play. Gonna be giving people headaches if it's anything like The Big 3 have been playing in this demo. Get your ankle braces ready fella's!
