You could do that last year too.

Finally, I was able to hold the Heat to 0 points, I just beat them 10-0. I felt like I was missing out or something. I may now play the demo at my own leisure, without having to play like it's the NBA Finals.

It's not something I'm proud of figuring out.

Man, every time I play and start getting into it...a moment later I hear the clock ticking. It's really pissing me off! Gotta...play...the...full...game...now!

is it just me or are there too many missed layups?

You thought so? With me the heat are draining layup after layup and I'm hiting most as well if the paint ain't too crowded. Changing shots works great as well this year.

Drive properly in open lanes, use the correct hand to finish and you will get those quality layups easily

Also it was very annoying when you sprint and for some reason 'hit' the ball into a player and lose it.
They actually look pretty life like, especially Bosh. He really looks that weird in real life, 2K did a good job with his face.

faces look detailed. i really dont like wade's face at all, hairline pushed back, looks like a baby. thumbs down. bosh's face looks on point, its just it always looks like the light is at the wrong angle, makes it look weird. faces look good overall imo

I felt like that too when I was reading some of the comments. I figured if some people were able to hold the Heat to zero I should be able to do it too. It isn't easy to do that if you're playing off ball defense though. 2K has said that user controlled defenders affect shot percentage more but I hope that doesn't mean that AI teammates don't affect shot percentage at all. D-Wade has been shooting the 3 as efficient as Ray Allen in the demo if I'm not actually guarding him.

Nah that's not the issue. The issue in the demo is that CPU defends the perimeter very badly either Mavs or Heat players. The stand too far away from the shooter and thus letting in easy threes. Can shoot the lights out from the 3pt line with either Dirk, Rudy, Caron or Kidd in the demo.

Probably been posted before, if not then just me. I'm playing on a PS3 and when the player intro hits sometime it glitches (actually a lot lately), so you'll see the camera looking at the court broadcast view but see the players flash everywhere with the numbers like PPG, APG, BPG, etc. floating around them.

A scene of dirk dunking or lebron dunking, flashes to lebron at scorers table tossing up the powder, then flashes to somewhere else of dwade or lebron i guess doing the fist pump thing.

Yeah that's happened to me quite a few times too on ps3, it's not just you

I love the shot change in mid-air this year! It feels much more accurate to whet you're doing with the stick. This is something I have asked for (wishlist) and happy to see it's in the game. And also, the right stick functionality on defense when you're playing off-ball D. I just love it!

LeBron goes to the rim like LeBron now. Even if he doesn't dunk it and has to change his shot, the way the layups happen is too sweet.

Also had a tough and 1 happen to me. LeBron went up. I went up with Tyson. LeBron brought the ball back down, hung, then as TC fouls him, leBron banks it in.

Then he flexed, giving the cam a good view of his tats.

The CPU is gonna be even more fun (and frustrating) to play against.

Yeah I found it pretty easy to make threes as well. I'm just hoping that when I play the game on HOF that the cpu doesn't have an unfair increase in shot percentage like they do in 2K11, that's the wrong way to simulate a higher difficulty level in my opinion.

Some lead passes that I wouldn't even consider cheese are getting picked off by the CPU. This is a very good sign.
