Ill wait and see.

Dont see why Mike, Czar would all the sudden start lying to us.

If they say its an early build, ill take their word for it...suprised at some of the more seasoned posters here...

funny thing is, the stuff people were talking about in the 2k11 demo, you never heard a peep about post release...

I have my issues with the demo, but ill wait to see what happens before I talk about some deep rooted problems.

i'm waiting for the retail as well, but the areas i'm referring to seem so different from 2k11 that it looks like a conscious decision on their part to change the mechanics. it doesn't seem like something they would totally fix between the demo and retail. I'm not suggesting anyone is lying. I believe that the retail version will be slightly better...but i'm not too optimistic that the defensive locomotion or shot blocking will be that much better in the retail version...maybe slightly better, but probably not enough to really be as consistent and responsive as it should.

That's insane. Hopefully no NBA Jam stuff like that will make it into the full game.

Am I the only one not impressed? I was 50/50 before the demo on buying it, still 50/50. Probably have to rent it to decide.

We will def see man, trust me I have my worries......

I have yet to play a 2k demo that was a true representation of the game though... thats why im staying optimistic.

There were major defensive questions from some in 2k11s demo, as well as some spazzing over a video of Steve Blake doing work...neither were an issue last year

Does it actually work for you. I tried to go by that a few times but straight misses.

Are the retail versions controls sluggish and unresponsive like the demos for 2k11 and 2k12?

Could be placebo effect guys but has anyone adjusted their game default settings under their profile on xbox live dashboard? Previously mine was set to easy ever since the MLB2k11 demo. In the MLB2k11 demo it was known that if you changed your profile difficulty it changed the difficulty of the demo. I could not hit to save my life initially in MLB and was getting curb stomped by the cpu (profile was set on Hard initially). Once I set it to easy I was able to hit the ball way more consistently.

Well I just went into the dashboard and changed it to hard and the heat are playing alot more aggressively, especially on d. They are much more aggressive in the passing lanes as well with Wade and LBJ intercepting and starting their two man fast break. Haslem actually blocked one of Dirk's fadeaway's for the 1st time in about 20-25 games. Again could be placebo but check it out.
