I love playing the demo so much and I know it's the same thing every year (first year for me with the demo)...but it still brings me down that there's no commentary (and other sounds). It feels so empty....I started imagining in my head what Harlan would say....I need the commentary!

Desperately wish that the PC got a demo this year. I'm literally envious of you guys right now.

Keep the impressions rolling in.

2k.. I got a question about the camera cuts after each quarter have they changed that up this year or is it still the same I thought it was perfect in 2k9

Playing the demo I've realized that if I'm not playing on ball defense the computer seems to make the shot almost every time. In the defense insight it said that users affect shot percentage more but I'm afraid that this may have translated into computer teammates not being able to affect shot percentage at all. It wasn't as noticeable until I switched my game difficulty preferences to hard. I'm wondering if the unfair field goal percentage increase the computer gains when the difficulty is raised to HOF will be an even bigger hassle to deal with in 2K12.

I really loved the demo. It's really smooth, it feels like real basketball, the way Lebron and D Wade move, the way Dirk shoots... The little details too, court spacing, player moves. If you don't like this, you probably don't like basketball, it's really fantastic. I can't imagine how incredible it will be with playcalling, my player mode and association...

It looks better than 2k11 too, on ps3 at least, since there was a lot of aliasing in 2k11 PS3.

Congrats to 2k, I absolutely loved 2k11 and I can't wait for 2k12 now... October can't come soon enough.

My only worry is about some moves from the post which look near unstoppable with Dirk, you know when you fade to the side and shoot, from the post. Looks very hard to stop. It's a minor complaint, though. I hardly can find anything negative.

Overall, it rocks.

I'm close to that number to...

I'm getting used to the new isomotion and I love that I can beat a guy off the dribble now. In the past I would be bumped to oblivion! It just feels more natural which keeps me going back to the damn demo....

2 weeks away man...2 weeks and I can't wait to unlock all those old school teams...

i don't understand why most of my shots with fernandez in traffic near the ft line are short , but his 3-pt jumper fall in with no problem? ( i release the ball exactly when the light in the circle flash on)
do i need keep releasing the ball when the circle flash on for getting perfect release? is it really accurate?

Anybody else think Bosh, Haslem and Miller looked crap?

Also it was very annoying when you sprint and for some reason 'hit' the ball into a player and lose it.

# 1270 Leftos @ 09/24/11 08:22 AM
Don't sprint that much then. It's a live ball this year, get used to it, it's not magically glued to the player in possession.

-Am I really playing against the cpu or what (the ai is great) I'm actually looking forward to playing association offline this year because I just couldn't do in previous 2ks

-these jumpers are just perfect, I love shooting so this is like a new feature in its own to me. I love how i can finally just stop on a dime a just pull up into a smooth jump shot unlike in 2k11 where it was the set shot every time

-I love how you chain iso moves better this year even I can't really do it from the broadcast angle

-the post game is definitely addictive this year, I've been constantly looking at the post controls screenshot from the "controls insight thread" and I've doing every move move from the list in the demo, I haven't mastered it but I'm definitely above average with it

-the contact in the paint is great. I was kind of skeptical about there not being any two man animations at all this year but I was wrong, the collisions in the paint are much better I didn't feel like I was sucked into them with no control (although I did see maybe two animations that were in the game last year but no big deal)

-last but not least the cheesy tactics SEEM to be gone, the hop step is gone unless its the layup, and the spin dunk is a little different and definitely not as effective this year so it seems cheesers are gonna have to really learn the game this year. I'm not going to get my hopes up though and to be honest I don't really care cause I'm just going to play against sim players on my friends list and in sim leagues and some offline association/my player as well

Sim Leagues are gonna be even more Amazing this year !!!
Thank you finally an end to the cheerers

Finally held the Heat to 2 points. It's not 0, but it's close enough for me.

Just had a game where the "live ball" was really apparant. It was all over the place. Gonna love that this year..

That's one of the small aspects that I like about this year's game.

That's the most realistic part of the game

What I dont like so far is that sometimes players showcase ballhandling skills like AI.
Joel Anthony shouldn't be able to spin so fast and easily without losing the ball.
And Dirk shouldn't be able to do stuff like in this video at 2:00
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8OYQj...&feature=feedu

And what annoys me is that when I want to start a fast break and press the sprint button to push the ball infront of me I click the sprint Button to soon when the player is still in the animation of catching the ball so he doesnt push the ball, and I have to let the sprint button go and it press again so he does it. I lose so much time when I steal the ball because of this.
English is not my first language so I hope you understand what I mean.
But I'm sure I will get used to wait till pressing the button when I play the game more.

But aside of this Im really liking the game and once the delay in the passing is fixed in the retail version Im sure this game will be legen-wait for it-dary

Does anybody here love the replay reviews as much as I do?

# 1278 _-King-_ @ 09/24/11 03:37 PM
The game looks good, but I just can't keep playing it, the demo is not for me. For one thing, it's really hard for me to play in broadcast camera. Secondly, I hope it's just because of the game being on casual mode because the Heat make every shot they take. LeBron couldn't miss a jumper, he was like Reggie Miller out there. I heard he was a 98 so no doubt I'll have to make a few rating adjustments.

Has anybody noticed that in tip offs you can tip it forward now? That's pretty cool

Edit: nevermind you can tip it any direction you want so even cooler

The game was tied 8-8 and I missed a shot with 9 seconds left on the clock. Wade got the ball on the fastbreak, but I blocked his reverse dunk attempt, then I immediately gave Butler the ball and he scored a three pointer at the buzzer to make it 11-8. Amazing.
