I know certain players can't pull off this move, but I was trying to do it with Kobe and I still couldn't pull it off. Any tips?

I think you have to start the circular motion from the direction your player is running to

I think it's a lot easier if you rotate the stick COUNTER-clockwise, and I find it's a LOT easier to pull off if you rotate the LEFT stick and press "X" instead of trying to rotate the shot stick. I found the info on Google somewhere, but I can't seem to pull it up now..

But I figured it out how to do it a a week or two ago and..

Here's a vid of me doing it on a buddy of mine:

(take out the spaces, it's my 1st post so it won't let me link links)

you have no idea how hard i worked to get the video, take the reel, upload the video, create a 2k sports account, remember my windows live id, and then link the two.

Never again.
That was nice, will try when I play again... Thanks

You dont have to spin the shot stick to perform the 360 dunks. Just have the right dunk package(j.rich j.r smith or flight) or assign a 360 dunk to the perferred dunks. Then just Hold Turbo and push the shot stick **left of basket Same as 2k10.
The 360 dunks depend more on where you take off and how open you are then anything else.

** Not 100% sure it is left of basket this year, might be towards basket this year. At work right now, will test later tonight.

You are right... I just tried it with J-Rich... RT+pushing shot to the left for camera relative and push down for absolute.

Anyone wanna get on xbox and help me out sometime? I know all the flick flick momentum/standing/post moves (I think). Wanna make sure I know everything I can to help my game out. I'm alright with the iso moves/triple threat. Would like help doing players sig moves you all been talkin about.

Is there any post players with sig post moves? Is there a thread with list of players who have there own specific sig moves? I know rondos dream shake/j crawfords shake n bake(which i can't figure out).

If someone experienced could get on sometime and help me outsometime that would be greatly appreciated. Aka adarkin/edotd?/hulk or anyone else that knows what's up. Otherwise if you could post some info on here I'll try and figure it out lol
Xbl gt - I st0mpy I ---yes that's a zero thanks

Oh and also wondering what moves I can do after I spin baseline with post players. Can't seem to do anything besides layup. Can't dunk...can't spin dunk...can't spin layup...can't seem to flick flick anything. Anyone know something I don't from baseline or spin off from other places on the court besides spin dunk/layup?

Also having trouble using the shot stick on defense...seems inconsistent. One second I'm denying the ball next I'm trying to get a charge. I try to use it to put my hands up to prevent pump fake cheese but like I said most of the time it makes me set my feet for a charge. Any advice? Or advice on stopping spin dunks everytime? I stop it most of the time by holding lt/rt and moving towards ball hand with eitherleft stick/right stick or both lol. Not 100%

Yeah I've tried both. It's pretty easy to switch back and forth for me. There is only a couple moves where I can do easily in one and hardly in the other. I'm gonna try out broadcast cam after work. I play on 2k but wanna see if right stick defense is more consistent on broadcast

WOW i couldnt believe how pissed off i was getting about not being able to do a double crossover when the issue was actually that my crossover package (3) actually doesnt have a double crossover in the package. those are some headaches that could have been avoided.

Attempted at making a tutorial on Flick-Flick moves!

check it out! Read(or reread) Mike Wang's NBA developers insite.

You can't. Some players have a simple crossover size-up but aside from that you can't switch hands unless you move your player.

I just started playing 2k11 two days ago. It's a fun game but I'm having a lot of trouble so far. I feel as if the animations play out a bit too slowly sometimes.

Could be that I'm just bad, though. xD Anyways, can anyone give me some basic pointers to start out with? I've learned to run plays a bit and that has helped. I'm overwhelmed with the amount of moves I can pull off and being that there is so many I'm finding it hard to do exactly what I want when I want.

I was a big 2k player from 2k6-2k9 my peak being 2k7 and dropping off each year after that. I played a ton of Live 10 and got used to the responsiveness of the dribbling in that game which is probably why I always think I'm hindered by isomotion in 2k now.

The only two ISO moves I have a problem with is Half Spin and In and Out. at first I could pull In and Out with no problem, now every time I try to pull it off I end up doing a Double Cross. Half Spins always end up doing a full Spin. I can pull it off in Games 2-4x accidently. But in Dribble Course, I cant pick it off

# 478 bSmooth @ 03/03/11 03:30 PM
For the Half-Spin I find it easiest if you rotate the stick kinda slowly when doing the move, instead of trying to do it rapidly. I can pull the move off about 8 out of 10 times. In and Out is rather simple, just quickly flick the stick away from ball hand, then back. Whereas with the double cross you flick the stick in rhythm.

those are the two animations i have the most trouble with. in n out and double cross. i know it says in and out in rhythm but it seems like i'm doing the same thing for the in and out

How can i do the Kobe pivot spin? I did it one time somehow and couldn't do it anymore.
Edit now i maybe figured how to do it but sometimes it doesn't do it. Just does some basic flick not the spin. EDIT:2 now i figured but still can't do everytime. I guess it takes perfect timing?
