Give it a try. Putting the controls on absolute really solidify your ability to "do what you want" with the game.

Want to do a running floater, it's always down on the right stick. Want to always do a euro step, it's always up+L2.

The benefit from this also is you will see how the flick-flick moves work. At the least if you switch back, it will allow you to pull them off in a better fashion.

Same here broadcast cam, however i get frustrated when there's someone downcourt and i don't know who it is and can't see the defender's position!

Man I wish there was an absolute option for the isomotion.

is there away that the alley oop animations can be manipulated using the right thumb stick. a few momments ago i accidentally clicked down on the shot stick while throwing a lob and i dunked it backwords in a manner that i'd never seen on a lob b4, but when i try to do it on intentionally it feels funny and doesnt work...

Is anyone else having trouble doing spins? Otherwise this is awesome. It gives you a ton of control

The most difficult part is chaining the moves together. In the past 2k games I was good with the dribble controls now it's sort of a challenge.

Can someone please tell me how to do a stutter step while dribbling? I can't figure out how the computer is doing this.

Would anyone recommend I play on Absolute or Camera Relative? I don't know the difference, but I'd really like to get the most out of the game.

Try them and see which one you prefer.

From what I gather absolute controls are always the same no matter which you you're looking at the court. On the analog stick, Left is always left, Right is always right.

However, on Camera relative it all depends on how you see the court. The directions change as the camera changes up and down the court.

I'd say it really depends on your camera angle.

I admit I just came over from Live to NBA 2k11 this year. I'm so used to having the right stick be dribble moves so I changed my config. I just recently switched to shot stick and have been draining all my J's now! I feel like an idiot lol

I am having the same problem. relearning everything is taking a minute to do. just watching the videos put up in the other thread is giving me hope. lol

I find the 2k camera works the best using isomotion controls,
