I found that the half-spin move is much easier to do without pressing turbo.I know sometime is forget to take my finger off it when doing other moves but half-spin seems to really need it to be off. Works 3/4th of the time when i dont turbo with a PF with 35 handles o_0

I thought you have to hold down the left trigger only. Spin move and behind the back is simple for me. When I try to do the half spin I wind up doing a regular spin move or a step back.

Well yeah, gotta use the trick trigger but not the turbo. it's a really fast half circle, not even half sometimes maybe a bit left. It takes some practice.

Hey guys. Just started playing. What is the general consensus on here for RS shooting on 2k view, camera relative or absolute? Thx.

Try them both and use whichever one you like better.

I can't find any video footage of it being done in 2k11, but this is what it looked like (except it was at the top of the paint).

First 6 seconds
You sure had to pick one of the most obscure moves in bball..

Is there a list in this thread of all the moves?

Outside of the pictures in the 1st post

One thing I've never been able to master in this game is the Pick and Roll and Pick and Pop, especially the PnP.

Is that the same as the PnR where you hold LB down and then release or is there something else that needs to be done?

Sorry if this has been answered already...

Just wondering how you do that, Back to the Basket shoulder shake then Turnaround that KG does all the time?

While engaged in the post the following moves are performed with the Right Analog Stick.

Shimmy Left, Fade and Shoot Right :: Tap left then right on the stick. Simply reverse the motions to go to the other side.

Double shimmy, a left, right, left move :: Double tap to the left direction. Double tap to the right to perform right, left, right move.

You can also go further on this by holding the Clutch button to fake the move, then follow with another post move.

Thanks for the tip

I think my MAIN PROBLEM with this game is that these controls, to me at least seem very COMPLEX... I know what I'm supposed to do, but, on the Fly, during a game in game situations, I really struggle with "what to do.

Think of each side as a shoulder. Flick the stick to one shoulder than the next.

It should be very simple, but it takes you to understand the concept first.

Thanks again. I just need more practice. I use the TV Style camera so I think that throws me off sometimes.

And you can get by players easily. Again, learn the system. Not sure what the problem is with all the suction non-sense being mentioned.
There are times when your defender will pretty warp/glide across the paint to engage in an animation with the ballhandler.

# 535 JSensui @ 05/15/11 01:40 PM
For instance, look at Artest on this play. Glides over to Garnett for the contest even though his momentum is taking him in a completely different direction.

It can get even worse than that, because some times the CPU will recover and warp towards the ballhandler forcing some animation of a really, really, tough shot attempt.

The Isomotion moves on offense took some time to get used to because my guys would always pull up for midrange shot or pump fake.

Wow. That happens to me like 90% of the time in this game. Glad to see it happen to others. Seems like i struggle too much to get by people and to get open shots.

I hope you were able to figure this out, but if you haven't the controls are to start off pressing LB to call for the pick and then tap LB again when the icon comes up over the guy who's setting the pick. That second tap will have the guy not roll to the basket but pop away for a J.

It's a good way to get big guys that can shoot like KG or Channing Frye some pretty open looks from 18-feet.

whats the best way to shoot a fadeaway in the post? does it have to do with timing on release ? I never seem to hit it with the likes of Amare, LA, Kobe
