I change tendencies for all players (in front of every league game i take that team that is up in the schedule). I don't want any shoot tendency being higher than 60-65, no tendency should be lower than 30 (except for 3-pointers for guys that cannot shoot at all).
Player tendencies help make individual players INDIVIDUALS. Game tendencies help steer those individuals into a more realistic "meta" without taking away what makes them unique.

Sliders are VERY important, as are correct player tendencies. But this is a GAME, and there's no chance I'm taking that much extra time out of my day to edit each individual player AND the gameplay sliders. 2K do a decent job with their rosters, and the roster editors on this forum are great at their job as well.

Until a suitable roster is posted, I'll make due with what 2K gives us.

I think I figured out the key to getting the CPU to slow it down a bit on offense and not just rush to get a shot up as quick as possible every trip down the floor.

Stay tuned guys

From what i see there are too many fastbreaks in the game, you miss, the other team start running into a fastbreak. The other thing is probably the defence, far to easy you can pass a man and score. In a good game in my opinion you should run plays to distrub the defence and then make a move to score, that's basketball

Fast breaks are something I'm working on, no worries!

As far as defense, you should be able to attack the basket consistently with most good ballhandlers. It's the help defense and rim protection that are more important, IMO. Players get to the basket all the time, but are forced to pass it out or take a contested layup. That's the type of defense I'm trying to replicate in the game!

Is anybody able to get the cpu to shoot below 50 percent from the field?

I'm actually working on getting the CPU to shoot BETTER in the upcoming update, because the defense is pretty stifling. For now, just set the CPU Layup/Jump Shot Defense Strength sliders to 55 instead of 50, that should help!

Just wanted to share a quick teaser of the defensive rotations and closeouts on shooters I've been working on. I'm controlling the Rockets FYI:

I hesitated on the shot because I figured I had time to fully set my feet. Curry had other ideas though :O

Video looks great. Did you implement Tombas speed settings and game speed? Looks like the pace is accelerated. Could just be the video..

I like what Tomba has been doing with the speed / movement sliders.
