Re: Bill's v3 Realism Sliders

Hi all

I have been playing with these sliders with Raiders and McFadden has been regularly getting 150+ running yards per game.

Is this normal for the sliders? I want to change some setting to make it harder to run. Any suggestions on what to change?

Also, importantly, does anyone know how I change the sliders when already in Franchise mode? Or do I need to start a new Franchise game?

Thanks.

These sliders are set up for people that let their running backs run on their own..or for those that just guide them and don't use juke moves or trucking. If you use the R stick you have to lower the human break tackles considerably.

Also, your franchise sliders are the same as what they are set up for in your My Madden settings in the main menu. You can only change them in franchise by going into the settings from within a game..you can't do it anywhere on the franchise main menu. Just make sure you save your profile if you find a set you like, because I think it will revert back to whatever you had before if you don't save your profile.

Nice edits. These are my favorite sliders.

Thanks for the response, budsticky.

I didn't know about letting the running back run by himself issue. I will change the sliders, because I do use the R stick.

What about using QBs? Are the sliders set up to allow me to control them?

Thanks again.

Yes. These sliders are set up for full human control except running backs because this is how Bill, the author of these sliders, plays the game. He has footnotes to these sliders...they correspond to the bracketed numbers next to the actual slider. If you scroll way down to the bottom of his first post you can see these and he explains things.

Anyway, I wouldn't mess with any running sliders except human break tackle. You can lower it in increments of 5 and see how that works for you or go drastic and lower it by 10. When I play with full control I put it at 30 and get good results but probably anywhere between 25 and 30 will work good depending on your stick skills. Or if you're really a stick jockey even less than 25.

Hey Bill, do you think field goal accuracy might be too high at 75? I'm seeing next to no misses at that setting. even from outside of 50 yards I'm seeing guys go right down the middle a lot. Yeah, it barely crosses the bottom bar, but when it does it's pretty much centered. Just something to ponder. I'm personally thinking I'm going to back it down about 10 points.

Halftime.

Matt Forte

13 attempts, 68 yards, 2TDs.

Jay Cutler

13 of 17 for 331 yards, 5 TDs, 0 INTs.

Too easy.
