Did you notice that with the increase in rushing via the reaction slider change that your passing numbers came down to be a little more reasonable?
Thanks. I haven't actually changed the reaction time slider yet. I was just thinking that trying -5 compared to your -10 would be a good intermediate test. It sounds like that -10 might be just a little too much, but that means we're very close, at least.

So tell me how you're testing Peterson and who you're playing against and I'll try to duplicate it tomorrow, but with a -5 change instead of -10. That should give us plenty of data to work with.

I was testing Peterson just by trading him for LT. That's all no other changes. And letting him run against the San Diego D behind the SD OLine gave me those last two game's results.

So I will keep the -10 and you will go with -5? And did you want to use different teams because I'm all for that if we are going to run a 5 game set again =). Just let me know.

We can just go with Minnesota and Peterson, if that's okay. I'd like to try that or the Panthers (to play with Williams)--your choice. Those are two of the guys most likely to demonstrate that the settings are too "loose," if they are.

With average running backs its still too easy to run.

And cpu run game is too weak.

Re: Bill's v3 Realism Sliders

Bill thanks for the knowledge on how the siders work first and foremost, the weird thing is I play on my skill and I'm about 545 any ways I checked out my o line blocking and d line pass rush because I was getting such pressure from the cpu and and pressuring the qb with my line and they were set at 5 and there was no warping or funny animation glitches. You could see d-line using swim, spin and bull rushes and the o-line reaching and grabbing the d-line not always but more than any new gen madden I've seen. So I think every one should
D start at my skill as a base be patient treated as preseason games play with your favorite team don't change and play as many teams as possible watch how the sliders and your skill react to how you play not just on final results but how you play. Then when you get to a game where you feel good about the gameplay look at the sliders and tweak them to where you like them. *note* I got the idea from another thread but from what you taught us about the sliders I think it will make tweaking the sliders easier just my opinion

Walter 151.0 rating, 11-16-228 68% 2TD 0INT

Frerotte 130.6 rating, 20-28-324 71% 3TD 1INT
I haven't read this whole thread, but have you tried controlling both teams' defense instead of their offense? I wonder if that would make the scores and the QB stats more accurate? I know NFL teams score an average of 21.6 points per game.

Re: Bill's v3 Realism Sliders

I have to first say I appreciate the hard work on these, but I won't be using these any longer, I am seeing the ability to move at will against the cpu and can't stop the pass myself. The flat abuse by the cpu is ridiculous( that's more of a game thing)...just need something that feels more balanced
