Do you have a ps4pro?

The game is incredible on all star default post patch. Hitting is way more balanced and the unrealistic power is gone.

Is the blue tint on replays a bug on HDR?

Post patch 1.04 it is working for me fine. Pre patch the statistical category was not displayed.

No clue. I noticed when they show division standings now they are correct but they obviously weren't pre patch. But post-patch, the ticker at the bottom is where I'm noticing stats/league leaders categories not matching up with the correct number or stat.

And tabarnes, I'm on an OG ps4. What about you?

That's partly consumers to blame for demanding something new for paying $60 for every year. From the perspective of facilitating creativity to push further the authenticity of sports gaming, I'd much rather see the developers ditch yearly cycle release, but we know that will never happen with titles tied to major professional sports.

And at this point I do think SDS is suffering from rather major QA issues.

I almost wish that people give the developers some slack so that they could get away with a year of very lackluster release while they concentrate on and have ample time to update their legacy code that has dragged down the progress of the game itself, and also implement more effective QA systems in that process.
Good post nomo. (sidebar: When Mariano Rivera was warming up in the Yankee bullpen, you could hear the opposing team.... nomo...nomo...nomo)

You do in Madden. Unless you are playing an online franchise.

I'm having the same issue in regards to the stats displaying wrong.

I'm in june in my franchise as well. No QC, regular ps4. Since the start of May (in game) I have used the play one simulate 5 method.

SPOT ON..............NOMO!

I'm sure the marketing department has more sway than the developers. I don't like ditching the yearly cycle however, after taking a big PR hit this year you would think the devs would tell the higher ups who make some of these decisions that this game needs to be f-i-x-e-d. It's beyond time, by a few years, that this game should be playing flawlessly out of the box (individual slider/settings preferences aside).

It's the game play, bottom line. Not the color of a back drop, not a sock, the game play and if SDS keeps messing things up and adding more fluff (to suck in I don't know who) it will/should lead to less sales rather than pulling in more (you'd think). Personally I don't care how many people have a fit over a sock and lack of immersion if it isn't there, if the game play suffers.

That said, I expect a "super retro mode with WBC players and even newer ball physics and sock colors"....being very factitious, but man, that's been the pattern.

It doesn't matter a hill of beans if Ken Griffey Jr. graces the cover, or whoever graces the cover, or how cool the intro is if the game play suffers.

This was gonna be the year. Everyone...high hopes, we were even told that, but..............somethin' got in the way. And next year the word "broken" will be thrown about and people will still not understand why.

Not true at all.

The wild pitch issue is still so rampant. The annoying part is that the CPU is able to crisply pounce on it and throw a laser, while the User seems to differ from animation stickiness and lazy throw mentality.

yeah don't remember that for Madden but If I'm not mistaken in The Show a couple years ago or so there was a patch that fixed stat issues or something but only fixed for new franches starts and not in progress ones. IF I remember right.

This isn't the ticker, but I'm in June of my franchise and a catcher is listed in the league leaders for... innings pitched. And it's not Christian Bethancourt!

It's the first time that I'm playing this game and I really loving it but I don't know if it's me or not but I'm feeling that the pitching meter it a little broken.

I'm currently on Hall on fame pitching difficulty (Dynamic Difficulty) and I've the impression that you can miss by a little the "green" zone (don't know how it's called) on the pitching meter and seeing your throw going miles away that the zone that I've aimed.

In fact, I'm seeing no big differences between the time when I'm missing this zone by a little or when I'm missing completely (which happen). It should be the case no ?

Or I haven't really understood the pitching meter.

HOF meter pitching is pretty unforgiving on default sliders. It's like you said - missing the meter by any amount can result in a really big error radius (and the ball landing anywhere in that radius). Think of it like leaving a huge circle on a mis-timed pulse pitching button press.

You can lower the REALLY inaccurate misses with the consistency slider (raising it) if it's getting to you that much.

Well it's user dependant. It used to be perfect for me but this year AS is too easy. I've been slugging 5 homeruns per game and lasering shots left and right. The CPU just grooves at least 1 pitch per batter. So frustrating, I'm almost thinking there's a difficulty glitch and the game is stuck on Rookie even though AS is selected.

I have not seen much changes in this patch at all as far as gameplay goes

CPU still warms up the BP in the 5th innings even if it is a 2-2 game and he is only at 70 pitches.

Does the AI think that nobody works the count or something and swings at everything>? because that might be the only way to stop the CPU for automatically bringing the BP ready in the 5th.

no difference for me in Home runs either though I never had a issue with it.

I'm only one user so take my experience with a grain of salt. But, I'll tell u that I've had no issues with balls in the dirt allowing runners to advance on me. I've had about 6 and ONLY ONCE did the ball get far enough away for Dee Gordon (I mean c'mon, he's fast) to take 2nd.

I've also had soft sacrifice bunts down both lines.

I'm pleased with these
