I wasn't sure where to put this but I just had 3 odd plays happen in my game, all by Jose Altuve, the baserunning one and the DP one aren't too bad but there still plays that shouldn't really happen


But the one where he just holds onto the ball and lets Smoak reach base is something I've never seen before

I went back and continued this game and the next inning another routine play was messed up by Altuve I have no idea what's going on here


Sorry I had to go into the replay to get the clip as it wouldn't let me save the video from the actual gameplay

He made a bad throw. I don't follow what's wrong. Bad throws can happen on the most routine of plays.

That added with the other 3 plays, all of them by Altuve and there the only plays he's made in this game.


These plays shouldn't really happen IMO in isolation but for them to all happen in the matter of 2 innings is not right


I'm going to continue this game and see if anything else goes awry

I was nailed a few times so far on manual steal. However I never take an extra step leadoff. I've used that house rule for probably last 3 versions.

Wow...that is crazy. All error sliders on default? I think it would be a one off.

Hey guys....

Since I was complaining about the post patch bat sound, I toggled all the sound options available in the games Audio/Video section.

For me, the headphone gold with The Show app is the biggest offender. The 'night' sound option is a viable toned down bat crack to use until the next patch.

Like many of you, I love The Show and have confidence in the SDS team.

Those are all fairly typical ways fielders have botched plays in the game this year and in the past. I don't think these are bugs.

One potential "bug" (or unintended glitch...), however, is when a fielder doesn't make a throw or hesitate too long to make one... That appears to happen under certain conditions, often (but not limited to) when the receiving fielder isn't ready covering the base.

But other than that, I see those often as error animations (though the game often does not score as errors... which itself appears oversight though not bugs...).

Adjust the errors slider.....i find on default there are too many errors for my liking. Lowering won't kill the game play. I still see plenty of errors with the slider lowered.

OSD's are still messed up and displaying the wrong info. Pitch info "break" is still way off no break is 756 inches. Everyday players, acquiring pitcher quirks.

Pitchers, are still being pulled early, especially at the first sign of trouble, they will never get to experience adversity or show how good of a "workhorse" "pressure cooker" or "fighter" they are supposed to be. Watching a pitcher work his way out of trouble with the assistance of the catcher is one of the best things about baseball. They added logic for righty vs lefty from the bullpen, but it can't be used because of the Managers Hook.

This activity will skew the stats and not for the better and that is a shame.

The Show and NBA 2K are having a rough outing. Glad Madden picked it up this past year.

I think I am just horrible vs the CPU on HOF then ;-). Cause even my speed demons get picked off if I don't get an extended lead.

Not every time but my SB success rate on higher difficulties (HOF) is not that impressive.

Maybe he was just having a bad day and it affected his play. It happens. It's called being human.

I think he was referring more to "a video game" having a bad day.......


In my opinion it can be coded "a bad day" just like anything else. That's part of what makes the game fun.
