With respect to your point, player models would most certainly have to included in even the earliest of builds -especially marketing pieces like this one.

They're not going to hold those back like the high-render art elements like grass etc for later reveal.
Actually quite the contrary, graphics are almost always the last piece in any development cycle, especially in a situation where the developers are pressed for time, because:

- graphical changes require the least amount of bug/crash testing and
- you can't actually run a demo build until the core changes (mechanics, internal processes, animation triggers) are finished... that means you wouldn't even be able to produce a trailer until you get that stuff done first

It's like building a house. You wouldn't paint the walls or the furniture, put in molding and floor-tiles, or any of that cosmetic stuff, until the building is structurally sound and functional. Beams and columns, electrical outlays, floorboards and sheetrock all have to be done before you can worry about cosmetics.

Regarding the new Humanity AI--my understanding is it forces the AI to make mistakes (be "human")--I am thinking of so many threads being started as people vent about it happening to them at inopportune times....

Might be smart to install that feature with an on/off switch. I would use it.

The only ones I knew to be obviously wrong for sure was CF at AT&T Park which said 382 FT in '16...should be 399 FT. Also, Busch stadium was 336 FT to dead center in '16 and should be 400 FT.

I guess theres just some baseball lingo we don't use in Chicago...??...ive always heard what you guys are discribing as "texas leaguers" as "duck snorts"...
Listening to Hawk Harrelson, I see...

Sometimes those duck snorts can stretch into Texas leaguers, or even cans of corn. A bit farther and you can put it on the board, yes. But when the good guys grab some bench....[total silence for 8 minutes]...he gone. Mercy.

I heard they are going to have more removable seats there. I dont think the wall is going to almost 90 degree twice where the bullpen used to be

At 2:14 Progressive Field logo on backstop wall is missing behind the head of Lindor.

I'm going to use duck snort as much as I can this season now.

I would love to hear this get into the commentary.

"Sale with the pitch...and Kris Bryant with the swing...oh, looks like Bogaerts or Jackie Bradley can't get there...and it falls in! Wow, what a duck snort that was."

Hopefully they added more between inning city shots or other types of cutscenes.

Many dimensions were wrong or missing O.co was missing the 330FT down right field line Nationals park was 377FT down line when it should've been 336FT also Anaheim was missing 347FT down left field line PNC park should be 379FT in left center not 325FT. Camden yards was missing the 373FT to right center also the line on top of the fence at Citi field should be orange not yellow and Safeco field the left field corner wall is straight across at 331FT and not angled like it was when they moved that little manuel scoreboard. Kauffman stadium is missing the 387FT dimensions in yellow in the gaps. That's all I can think of at the top of my head but I'm a bit of a stadium freak and I know what they all look like!!!

Gosh, I read that whole quote in his voice and just cringed. Truly disgusting and annoying!!!....but I basically use the same baseball vocabulary he does. Wow. I am so ashamed

Went back to watch the video. noticed (at the 3:58 mark) Ken Griffey Jr. and Jackie Robinson's retired numbers are missing. Could have been an earlier build obviously. Just pointing it out in case it went missed in the stadium feedback thread.

I suppose you're right, but since this only deals with the AI we wouldn't have to worry about the bickering from manual fielding guys, only auto. If a user takes the wrong angle and runs past a wall ball, that's on them.

In Millennium's breakdown of the vlog he said he got the impression that taking correct angles to the ball was going to be more important this year. If that ends up being correct, then the route a user takes to the ball on a carom will become VERY important to successful outfield play. Can't wait to see whether that's the case - it should be pretty evident right from the first time we start seeing live gameplay (i.e. tomorrow)

Yeah, I like the one of Citi Field where you see the fans going in to the park. They should expand more on outside stadium shots if you ask me!

I just hope humanity based AI, is also ratings based.... which would be off the charts incredible. Good fielders, good outcomes. Bad fielders, bad and drive you insane outcomes. But a on/off option is always a good thing

Yeah. I was going to say 99% sure but that went to 100 when I saw their offline image - the '17 broadcast schedule. It'll definitely be on that channel.

One thing that I'm hoping for is the ability to make dive backs on pickoff moves manual rather than automatic. I've never been a fan of having the cpu determine whether my guy gets back to the base safely or not on pickoff attempts.

This! I've been asking for this since day one. At least give us the full manual option!

Isn't that just based off of their baserunning attributes?
