There was none maybe they decided it was more important to cover just gameplay in the first Vlog.

The ball physics and improved throwing mechanics are going to drastically improve the game play.

Those are monumental changes

With the hit variety and fielding animations I've got a feeling this will be the best show game yet.

I like the Humanity AI, every sports game needs that.

And why the Red Sox jerseys in daylight look like this washed out shade of brick red...

If this is a style guide issue then there's a bigger problem than we think. I just hope this stuff is taken into consideration sooner rather than later.

Besides this, I loved the video and all the improvements. Can't wait for Thursday!

The piping around the collars of both the Marlins and Indians jerseys should be the same thickness as the piping around the sleeves. Here's pics from today's video as well as from real life. Hope this helps...

FYI the issue exists on all the Marlins and Indians jerseys that have collar piping not just the two jerseys shown here.
THIS!!! The Indians were my A.L. team and the Marlins were my N.L. team, so I had to see that horrible piping in every game I played. Really hope they fix it. 🙏🏻

Animations look improved BUT....bothered me for years:

Branch point animations for BASERUNNERS --can we please see an animation upgrade on the TRANSITION into full sprint?

Watch any runner in this game and you can literally see when the actual speed attribute kicks in. It looks completely unnatural and really sticks out these days.

Watch the baserunner out of the box at 3:28 in the video.

What's needed is a smoother animation transition into full sprint.

Gosh, that looked amazing.

Somebody needs to make that into a gif...it was fluid and utterly beautiful.

The frame rate looked very much improved. Either they got it optimized on PS4, or it's running on PS4 Pro.

Either way, much smoother.

It's a weak fly ball that is hit between fielders...so a short pop-up just beyond the infield that is too far for the IFs to reach but too short for the OFs to reach.

a pop fly that falls to the ground between the infield and the outfield and results in a base hit.

I was thinking this too.

Good to see the bullpens not on the field anymore at Wrigley BUT whats up with the huge massive stadium lights behind the left field and right field foul poles. Those don't exist at all????

60fps on Pro would likely sell me on a new console. Just sayin'.

I wondered about those too. Back when the renovations were beginning (MLB 14), they were going to be in the game along with the new jumbotrons, but SDS had to take them out before release day. That's to say, they took the jumbotrons out, but not the stadium lights.

They were originally part of the plan along with the bullpens, but I don't know if ownership abandoned that idea or not. Maybe they'll be in 2018.

Always look forward to gameplay improvements. I think the humanity AI will create some real nice moments. I wander if we'll be able to pick throw back caps to avoid having the new logo on the side. Not crazy about that.

Looking good!. It looks like a lot work went into this year's game. The end of March can't get here soon enough!.
