I'm with you. My only eyesores with the player models are the lineback shoulders for most players and the "pillow under jersey" look for fatter players.

Yeah, the Matt Adams model really makes me cringe.

I am really hyped about the game so far, but yes, I am annoyed too that they are still using the same player models. I don't know why but to me this makes it look like the PS3 version with better lighting and details. Hopefully they start working on this for next year.

I was just saying that if we waited until the blog/vlog/stream about player models, we could eliminate all the guess work.
The guessing game and easter egg hunt of trying to find new things in an early trailer is half the fun of waiting for a new game. Without it this thread would be nothing but praise, which is fine I suppose, but it makes for a very boring thread. All the deep digging, criticism, feedback, and guessing make it much more interesting. And it's not like it's all for nothing either, we've already seen a dev in this thread responding to some of the feedback given.

Banks is in the game, yet his 14 isn't up there. Sandberg is in the game, and his retired jersey number is fine on the right field flag pole.
Pretty sure somebody finally pointed the double numbers out to us and we corrected it a while back...

I never liked the circles for some reason.

It's a bit harder to tell how full they are, and someone who has a 1 speed can easily be mistaken for someone who has a 99 speed.

It's the little things.

Agreed as long as the feedback is posted in a mature and productive tone.

For the most part feedback has been posted in a civil and respectful manner.

The deep digging and easter egg hunting is fun to read.

I'm curious if the Catcher Throwing Meter can be turned off? I'm not the biggest fan of throwing meters. I'll definitely give it a whirl, but am hopeful that if its something that I don't want to use, that I can turn it off and go back to just using the buttons.

I also prefer to just use the buttons for throwing but I like the idea of the meter for those Catcher throws. It makes base stealing into a type of mini game sort of

Love all the attention the ball physics got this year. IMO, this was the biggest gameplay element that needed a little TLC.

I'm glad they put some time in to the catchers as well. It seemed in prior years that catch defensive ratings didn't mean much so hopefully that changes a bit this year. Overall, very excited for launch.

A couple minor things though:
-Did they fix the center field wall at Busch Stadium? It said 336' last year instead of '400

-The walls at Busch look a little too bright. They are a deep green in reality. Not a big deal, though.

They are moving them under the bleachers. I am in construction and actually worked on some of the renovations there.

As far as I know it hasn't been "confirmed" to be fixed in '17, but they were made aware last year, so I will be surprised if this isn't fixed.

We definitely checked the wall distances again this year...
