Did you get a chance to look into the flag issues at Progressive Field? I think you were the one who replied to my comment about them.

Wrigley. No bullpens on the field. As you said they are behind the wall.

I like the new catcher meter as outs will not be automatic anymore. It's nice they added more accessories too. The hitting variations looks promising. I'm also concerned with framerate, new commentary/presentation, and pro support.

I'm so used to seeing those mounds on the sides. They've always been there. It's gonna be weird this season having pitching changes and watching guys come out of the Ivy-covered wall in order to pitch. Plus the bullpen arms warming up indoors.
IMO it should be a requirement that all stadiums have bullpen mounds out of the field of play. Too many safety hazards. Maybe the occasional ball getting loose as well, but that has nothing to do with it.

Hopefully they fixed the issue with the ivy changing back and forth between the brown and green this year

Did anyone else notice new catcher set up and receiving animations? It was just a quick look, but I could have sworn they weren't the same ones we've had forever.

Pretty sure those were new last year.

Million dollar question....

With the new "ground balls curving down the line" physics, will there be doubles in them thar hills?

The Cubs cited safety as a reason but the real reason is to add more seats down the foul line. The impact of less foul territory should be increased offense.

Between that and the "Humanity AI" that will apparently make AI defenders misplay balls off the wall more often, I'd imagine we'll be seeing a lot more doubles this year out of the box.

I think the new ball spin will be fantastic but I suspect the 20th time a ball curves just foul with runners on base there might be some debate on the topic.

Well I would hope the ball is going to react just like real life now.

So whether its's 20 times or 50 times if it is 99% like real life then why would anyone complain?

As I said I think it will be fantastic but I've been on this forum long enough to have seen people complain when things don't go their way.
