Rory McIlroy PGA TOUR is available today for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. We wanted to open a new discussion for those of you that didn't get a chance to try out the EA Access trial.

Get in a few rounds and post your impressions.

Before I ask my question, I need to be clear:
I AM NOT TRYING TO START A RM VS TGC WAR! Please do not turn it into one.

OK, now that that's out of the way...

For those that have played both TGC and RM, would you say RM is worth $13 on sale for someone that already has (and loves) TGC? I've had TGC for a year now and love it, especially the endless amount of courses to play. I don't see the "terrible graphics" that some claim exist on TGC but I do see where RM's graphics are probably better and I am a bit of a sucker for a pretty game, especially for golf. I'm not a golfer IRL so sim isn't all that big of a deal to me nor are licensed courses, golfers, etc. I guess I envision RM being a slower-paced (once or twice a week) single-player career mode type of fix where TGC will still likely be a near-daily one, especially once I get back up on TGCTours.

FWIW, I'd probably pick up Dragon Age (again) if I don't get RM. Still trying to decide if I want to go with both, considering the backlog I have going on right now.

I'm not trying to judge anyone's situation or anything like that, but at $13, its almost worth it no matter how much or little you play it. Everyone's perception of value is different, but even a few times a month would be worth it at $13.

I think TGC and RM are different enough to justify having both.

U guys will probably say I'm crazy but i like this better than tgc. Really pleased with this purchase . Man if this was on vita id b in heaven

I'm right there with you, but I'm a graphics whore.

This game is tough on the harder settings.
I'm at level 81 and have no chance at most tournaments.
I think Sawgrass, PGA West, Wolf, and the Waste Management are the only courses that I can place top ten in. The rest I'm usually missing the cut.

I've said it before, but I like both TGC and RMPT for what they offer pretty equally. I might shade a bit to TGC for it's course creator, but overall I enjoy both.

I love the real PGA courses on tap in RMPT, and am looking forward to the course roster continuing to fill out. I'd also like to see a broadcast type camera system and a flyby option so I can enjoy the amazing graphics this game has more. Also, as said the challenge is definitely there depending on your settings.

If I pick this up during the EA publisher sale (PS4), how much additional money would I have to spend to get all of the courses EA's added since the game was released?

Remote Play is at least an option on the Vita, but yes, would be nice to have a dedicated release. Unfortunately, those days are long gone on the Vita.

I had low expectations for this game at that price point, but I must admit I am pleasantly surprised how much I'm liking it. At $13, it's a steal. I'm going to have to tweak the difficulty a tad and make it harder(3-click), but other than that, it's found it's way into my game rotation.

This game is pretty fun but I feel like the user interface and options of things you can do is pretty lackluster. I could think of several different ways it could be better.

Do I have to win the Prologue to unlock the entire game? Played it and lost to Kaymer, and the menu only gives me the option of playing an 18-hole round on that course, or the Prologue. No option to change your settings or swing style, either.

Let the game finish installing, then reboot your Xbox One. You won't be able to get into the rest of the game until it is fully installed and all updates applied....

I'm getting the same thing. So frustrating. The game is fully installed. I closed it out and restarted. Same thing

Game told me it was done installing too but it wasn't really, on ps4 I had to look under download notification and it was downloading the rest. All it installed was whatever base game which lets you load up to play prologue and the quick game.
