When I watch the streams I just look for new features, equipment, batting stances/pitching motions, face scans, etc. I don't look at the graphics too much or pay much attention to the on field gameplay. Those two things always look wayyy better on my TV at home.

Sort of on that note, and I mentioned this to someone at CD. That the game really looked good on the monitors we play on there... in the past it would look decent, but has always looked a lot better on my TV/projector at home. So if that same offset carries over this year, we should be very pleased once release hits.

I never liked pitching in PIT because of this camera angle, personally. You may be stuck with manually changing to one of the other teams broadcast cam (or custom cam) this year, but I think this is good info, going forward.

This is camera angle the pirates use at pnc park now.

When I watch the stream I am looking for the humorous notes the put below the presenters names.

Yeah, what is your point? Took me over an hour to watch the feed, versus 7 minutes to type that up. What was more of misuse of time in my busy schedule? Sorry if I caused you to scroll over something so long.

And to your point about "complaining" after release. What good does it do then when the game is finished. By working with the developers now in what they are showing us we can let them know what we would like addressed. And if possible they work on it. There really isn't much harm in that. They are fans of the game just like we are and want the best possible finished product.

Seeing these guys explain how, what and why they programmed certain aspects of the game, makes me really appreciative as I have a whole new level of respect for what they do!

Overall, I like the direction they are going.

Side note and my only issue..........

Maybe it is my OCD but during the game I kept getting distracted by the two girls who are actually the same behind home plate. I know......I know...but when one did something, the other followed with the same animation. Need better fan variety especially in areas that we see more of such as behind home plate.

Seriously, watch it as it drove me nuts after about the fourth cycle of animations.

I know you can stop the camera shift for directional hitting, but can you turn off the yellow indicator that shows where you are aiming also? Hoping one of the devs can give a yay or nay?

Similar to why you would turn off the camera shift, I would not want the person pitching to know where I am aiming in a 2 player game. Long term, I also like the least amount of graphics on screen as possible.

Great stream once again, guys! Thank you for putting these on.

Not sure if this has been touched on but the Pirates just announced that they are going with Matte black helmets this year(http://atmlb.com/1ztbnQm). Asking with crossed fingers, but is it too late to make this change?

I don't know the answer but I would imagine you would be able to turn it off, since you can turn most of everything else off like batting cursers and what not

I believe that's a ST only thing.

You may be right, but now that I think about it, if it wasn't in the style guide it wouldn't matter. Carry on.

One thing I loved hearing was a lot more, "here's the 2-2, 1-2," and so on! That little detail just makes pbp so much better!

Ok, little help here. I'm new to the whole twitch thing but I do have an account. That being said, anyone have an idea as to why the archived videos won't play? I keep getting an error on the play bar or the play button has a hash through it. I'm doing this from the twitch app on my iPad but even the links here come up the same. What am I missing? I totally wanna check this out. Thanks.

I'm not apple/mac user, but I believe the archived video is Flash format, which Apple doesn't support. You'll need to check out the youtube version.

Yep, I'm ready for March 31st.

Loved the new UI for the Franchise Mode. Very clean, easy to navigate and love how you don't have to always go inside a menu to view information.

Also thought the gameplay looked solid like always. Loved the slide step and the throw and tag on the steal attempt. Lighting is gorgeous and may actually switch from Zone to Directional hitting after watching this stream.

Also another little thing I liked was the fact that using the D-Pad gets you to information that you had to kinda "search" for before. Add to that, the fact that I can pinch hit now before a batter gets to the plate, and wow!

Can't wait to see more and am eagerly anticipating next weeks blog/stream on Franchise Mode.

Really? Come on man. Everyone always wants a re-inventing of the wheel each year in sports games. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

hoping one of these streams they go with quick counts to complete a full game and show off how QC has been tweaked
