on the first part of the feed.. part one... before the game.. at the 6:30 second mark they show a part of the screen where you see the shop...

$4 Million
$22 Million
$48 Million

are these going to be our choices now for budget increases for franchise... so 1000 stubs will only buy 4 million now??? if so that sorta sucks...

I think the counter was at 0 because it was the beginning of the season and there were no home runs hit yet. This is definitely a working counter.

I appreciate you taking the time to answer. I know you have a lot to do, but would you be able to find out if the counter works when games are simulated in franchise? This goes for the Splash Hits Counter at AT&T Stadium as well. I would really appreciate it.

Thanks!

If we're still talking about last nights stream we were about 100 games into the season.

I also noticed there was no franchise ticker either though so I would imagine it's possible some of that stuff was turned off for the broadcast purposes.

Kehlis - you're right, I thought it was 100 some games into the season. There should have been a decent amount of homer runs. Has me concerned it doesn't count home runs in simulated games.....

guys remember the words...

WORK IN PROGRESS

being in the upper right hand corner of the screen.. and they mentioned it as well several times during each one... so have no fears.... trust in our team to get things worked out...

no one go jumping off any short piers into shallow waters just yet...

I know it never counted simulated games on the PS3. The only time I ever saw it increase was after I gave up a Pirate home run at PNC.

Maybe another bug? It only counts user home runs at PNC?

Goodness.

Really getting tired of being accused of complaining or jumping off a pier for pointing something out.

I'm not even a Pirates fan, I just live here.

Like you I play my show home games at O.co

I've seen a couple people mention (possibly in another thread, I can't find the posts) that you can now pinch hit for a batter before he comes to the plate? Anyone know where/when they show or talk about it? Or are people just talking about the thing they had in last year where you get prompted to bring in a pinch hitter when your pitcher is up late in the game?

Yes, its a work in progress meaning that its worth pointing some things out now while its still being worked on in an effort to get them fixed, if possible.

In regards to the counters/splash hits, did they work properly in previous games? I actually don't remember them working properly. They weren't set at 0, but I hit/gave up homeruns into the waters of San Fran and PNC that weren't added to the counter. Granted I play as St.Louis so maybe I just think they didn't work?

Seriously. If Lorne thought we were complaining, I'm sure he wouldn't have responded.

Does it tally during simmed games? Because last night game was played in August.

EDIT: Sorry, I see that Kehlis has already pointed this out.

I can't speak for the Splash Hits Counter at AT&T, but the Bucco Blast Counter counts Pirate home runs (obviously home runs hit at PNC by the Pirates)

no accusing just stating... they stated that not everything you saw was a finished part of the game.. might want to ask that in franchise feed this coming week..

as for my real team... yes they do play their games there... as for my virtual team.. the Marlins they do not lol...

needed a change after 13 and winning with them always wanted to do a franchise with a NL team decided on them cant be happier. won the world series, signed Scherzer in the off season... looking forward to repeating as world series champs in 15 and beyond...

LOL...I re-read my post when you quoted it and I made it sound as though I hit homeruns into the waters at PNC. I'm good but not that good...

Did the Bucco Blast Counter work correctly last year? I honestly don't believe it did, nor did the Splash Counter at AT&T.

I'm 99.9% sure the splash hits counter never worked at AT&T Park. I don't think it ever changed.

Yeah, I don't ever remember it changing. And my bullpen gave up some monster blasts into the deep deep waters....

Hopefully it works this year.

I really enjoyed watching a full game. I'm looking forward to next week's stream as franchise is one mode I'm sure to hit. I also like the new start time...much friendlier to my schedule.

Good lord: the exact same pregame, pre at-bat, post pitch, and post at-bat animations from last year (sorry, last 4 years), to the absolute letter? On a 2nd try on a next-gen system? Wow.

90% of this game on the field (in broadcast mode) is the pitcher batter animations - since they never cut to anything else - and they have been exactly the same (literally) since introduced in MLB 12. I mean you're talking 4 straight years with not one new animation (aside from a few notable batters having individual traits). That's just plain lazy.

What good reason does any long-term player have for playing this game in broadcast mode this year? To stare at the the exact same animations they've been seeing for 4 years straight? (And there's only like 30 of them anyway)

And then, if you're not gonna update the animations in 4 years, then at least have an option for continuous play with no cutscenes. Basically the pitcher catches the ball and resets in real time.

Oh well, another year of fast play, I guess. I love the show, but this franchise is officially stale and needs some healthy competition. Too many damn monopolies in sports gaming !!
