Can run/pass sliders for existing coaches be edited in a 32-user offline setting? Are those still in the game?

If so, playing around with those might also be useful.

Notwithstanding the sheer volume of statistics, eyeballing the TD:INT ratios looks better.

It's nice to know that there are situations where the game is capable of spitting out huge passing numbers, even if these are too high.

Nice! TON of picks, haha and a billion yards. But nice to know that there's some sort of workaround for those who are willing to do it, even if Looman and the gang can't seem to fix their blunder. I wouldn't mind setting it up in the beginning with 32 team control but much prefer just controlling 1 team over time for trades and FA and all that. Is it possible to change these settings then "retire" from that team and have it stay set that way at least for that season?

Looks like you're on to something here my friend. I'd rather have these stats where they're a bit too extreme over Peyton getting 13-19 TD's a season.

Can you also see how this change affects the RB, WR, and defensive stats?

I usually end up playing with a custom roster that generates decent stats, and I'm (admittedly) not as picky as I am with Madden, so I'm fine with them...

I tend to only have time for 2-3 Franchise seasons, per year as well...with Madden I shoot for 5-6...

Also, the stat engine in The Show doesn't seem to trigger the same level of "domino effect" nonsense...

At end of Patriots seasom, where Brady retires they had 5 rushing attempts. That's it. You had some wanky stats on players that you wouldn't normally think would have those stats.
This is mind boggling...

I can actually live with this over what we have at the moment. You still working on this angels? I feel like you are definitely on to something.

Yes, I am changing all playbooks back to original. Leaving schemes alone. I did not take pictures, but rb had no more than 300 carries, 14 over 1,000. 2 over 1500( ap and lynch) Will keep you posted

Do your thing man! I definitely have my eye on this while I'm here at work. At the rate you are going I may end up buying this tomorrow after all. Maybe I should just write out the check to you lol.

That had to be the case because not a single RB was actually listed, it was FB, QB and WR's. I would like to see the team totals for that year.

It may be a bit extreme, but It sure as hell beats 17-19, 13-13..

Did you happen to check progression as well? I think If you can get the stats, you can pretty much debunk the myth of the stats = progression. Because If It's not the case, I think we're spamming EA to fix the wrong thing.

How's the RB's stats with those numbers? Because If I can change the CPU's playbook to their default one when I play them.. I think I found my workaround.

So with what angels is currently doing with his adjustments, I'm assuming we'd have to control all 32 teams and manage them not only after each game but would we have to manage their FA and draft picks too?

I wonder if there is a way to do with angels is doing but still only have to manage 1 team?

# 375 CWSapp757 @ 08/25/14 01:20 PM
I am pretty sure that you can assign those duties to the CPU extremeskins.

You can set it on autopilot so you only control 1 team and the CPU takes care of the season, FA and the Draft for the other 31.

When using the auto pilot mode.. No trades correct? So play calling seems to be effected by playbook..wouldn't that mean custom playbooks would help?

For each user in the game, you can choose to have the CPU automate things like free agent signings, contract renegotiations, roster filling in the event of injuries, and weekly game prep.

I don't know if the draft can be fully automated to make it behave like the CPU is controlling every team (i.e. making the CPU offer trades during the draft). Certainly each pick that isn't your primary team's pick could be simulated, however, but the draft itself may not be as lively.

IMO that's something I can personally live with, If the progression and stats are correct. Don't know If you guys feel the same way.
