Madden NFL 15 News Post


Our friends at ESG have posted this Madden NFL 15 video that shows end of season stats, league leaders, awards, division standings, and more. They also simmed the playoffs and Super Bowl.

Do you have to be controlling all 32 teams in order to change coaches playbooks?

If I understand angels findings correctly, then this is nothing new. In fact, I'm surprised at the short memory a lot of OSers have.

Back in madden 13 or 14 we found that changing playbook only from, for example, Patriots, to pass heavy significantly improved sim stats as well as in game action as well. This looks like more legacy issues to me.

Again, that's if I understood angels solution correctly.

Great point. I was looking for a thread last year that had the playbook that you should use for each team to get realistic in game play calling (I cant find it though) but i didnt know it applied to sim stats too.

Well according to a few other OS'ers, they said that nothing they changed whether it be run vs pass schemes, sliders, or anything was helping with the stats. So I dunno what angels found different.

Just curious here.....instead of controlling all 32,would it be possible to set everything up outside of CFM (coach changes) then start your franchise?

Ok. Here we go. Left schemes to " vertical offenses" for all. Changed all playbooks to "balance". More realistic. Injuries were turned off.

Did you turn injuries off just for the sim or is this another issue?

Most likely for the sim...
To ensure getting stats for a 16 game season for each qb, rb, wr.... Just easier to look at the whole picture without external factors.

Actually it changed, but not split carries between 1st and 2nd in depth chart, it split runs between HB and FB. I did it a lot in PS2 and put the 2nd HB in the FB position.

guess he's just trying to get 16 games worth of stats for everyone without injuries distorting anything.
