Madden NFL 15 News Post


Our friends at ESG have posted this Madden NFL 15 video that shows end of season stats, league leaders, awards, division standings, and more. They also simmed the playoffs and Super Bowl.

Tried it with 15 minute quarers. Same results.

The more I look, the more I believe it's tied to too many team rush attempts with a yard per attempt average that's a little too low.

Sorry if you already answered this before but if you tried controlling all 32 teams and adjusted the run vs pass schemes to balance this, would this help at all?

Agree. I also tried 15 minute quarters.

I also created a 32 coach league with all created coaches and edited their run/pass ratio to favor passing more and got same results.

After all that I gave up.

Looman said they were "Looking into" the Simulated stats issue, hopefully a fix will be made soon. The Game seems to play great from the videos that I've seen, but until this issue is fixed I can't see myself purchasing a copy.

The game does play great. Which is why this is so frustrating. It annoys me that I wont be able to start a CFM until this is fixed. I don't play online and I'm not a MUT fan, so this is kind of broken for me.

I thought the rush attempts might be too high. That at least seems like it might be correctable. I'll probably be stuck starting an online CFM right away but end up starting over once they patch this issue.

I know this is Next Gen but I simulated 3 years with the 10 year sim option. The rushing stats were so horrific I couldn't believe my eyes. At end of Patriots seasom, where Brady retires they had 5 rushing attempts. That's it. You had some wanky stats on players that you wouldn't normally think would have those stats.

Well, thank god for this thread. I was going to buy this game tomorrow, but I've officially changed my mind until this issue is fixed. It's amazing how there's always a major issue with this game no matter what.

Do they not have any RB's on the roster? How many rushing yards total does it say on the team stats breakdown screen?

The curious thing to me is this: Doesn't Looman have his own CFM team in Autin or something, and didn't he or someone else from the team say in an interview that the sim 10 years thing was a great tool for making sure CFM stat, roster, etc... outcomes were realistic? Plus I thought they would have some proprietary tool for running sims? Like The Show uses.

Granted I dont understand programming but with all that is possible today I dont understand why EA cant develop a sim engine that is simple to tweak. Teams are running way too much? turn it down and pass attempts go up. It seems so simple to implement. I mean computers dont try to fool you. They respond to what you program them to do. Interceptions too high? Turn them down and they go down. Why doesnt this work??? I could never fathom why in PS2 days you could tweak coach philosophies like split running back carries from RB 1 VS RB 2 carries 90-10 to 50-50 and literally nothing changed. Why doesnt this work? so frustrated

Well, I will say that I am interested to see if anyone can come up with some kind of work around until we get a patch. If there is one thing that I have learned about OS and sports games, it's that someone here always seems to come up with something to at least help or partially fix the issue. Until one of you do though, I think I am out on this game. All I play is Connected Franchise and I can't do anything with it.

Sorry but please show the RB totals for the entire season. I'm not sure why your screenshot just shows the FB position and you don't even have the RB totals.

My guess is the RBs who had stats on the team for that year were no longer on the team (retired, not re-signed?) by the point at which the stats were looked at. All signs point to there being too many rushing attempts, not six in one season for a team. But possible, and if so, maybe a crazy issue with the "Sim 10 years" option.

I changed all coaches to "balanced pass"for playbook and "vertical offense" for scheme and got some numbers. Very extreme , but will adjust. It's a start
