I have been playing EA UFC on Xbox One since release day. I am an offline player that likes to create a guy that looks like me and dive into career. Since Gameface does not work-I had to scrap that idea. I went ahead and used Bruce Lee as a welterweight.

The issues I have had after 25 fights in my career with a record of 21-4 are the following:

1. Not fighting actual guys in the UFC. In 25 fights, I have yet to fight a guy in the UFC. All random generated guys. That is extremely disappointing considering I am currently ranked 6th.

2. The stamina issues which have already been discussed in previous posts.

3. The fact that I can't stuff takedowns especially the power takedowns is extremely frustrating.

4. The reversals from full guard to the CPU's full mount is ridiculous!

5. The referee stepping in and standing us up way too early when I am clearly throwing punches and knees from side control.

6. The training partners can make no sense at all. I had Junior Dos Santos show up at my camp. I had to fight Junior Dos Santos as a welterweight in training. A welterweight vs a Heavyweight makes no sense at all.

7. No ring entrances unless it's a championship fight is extremely disappointing. We should have varying levels of entrances.

8. The customization options are minimal.

9. All of my opponents are HUGE! Every guy I have fought as a welterweight is between 5'10" and 6'3" tall. Not sure if it's because I am 5'7" Bruce Lee but the opponents really feel too tall for the weight class I am in. I am at a reach disadvantage in every fight I'm in. Not sure if anyone else is experiencing the same thing.

10. Not seeing much differences between how opponents fight. They should try and fight to their strengths and I'm just not seeing that. Would love to see this moving forward.

11. As stated before, the constant aggression from the AI with little or no stamina effect is extremely annoying.

My final thoughts are that this game needs several patches to try and satisfy the hardcore community. I understand they are trying to appeal to a casual audience but if you don't appease the hardcore which are the guys that will buy it on day one then you will never get the casuals.

Hopefully the patches can fix some of these issues to make this game enjoyable until the next one comes out in 18-24 months.I think it is crucial that EA support this game as much as possible in order to keep the community on their side for their next release.

Overall the game has a lot of potential but the arcade direction needs to be corrected in order for the hardcore to back this game. It's not too late for that in my opinion.

Never leave it in the hands of the judges, bro.

Another FYI for everyone here.

Wins/losses are now being handed out for matches where a player quits out.

Looks like someone was working late last night.

Very nice, so quitters are gone now...

I've tried on 3 separate occasions, and I just can't enjoy this game.

I've played career, and succeeded. I'm succeeding online, even got to my purple belt. The lack of realism just absolutely kills this game for me.

im with u. Unlimited stamina and the nonstop reversals on the ground kill the enjoyment for me

At least we know they are listening. Quitters/Winners had to be the biggest complaint.

That was the main reason I stayed away from ranked matches.

Yup. Ive already resumed my season in The Show. Let all the kids have fun with this pos spamfest.

Saint I fought a guy using GSP who who would throw like 4-5 mod body shots in a row. Pause 2 secs then throw 8 front kicks. Fresh as a daisy the whole time. This game is whack. The ground game with all its gay *** reversals. Ya im bored with this game already. Waste of 60 bucks

# 434 SwedishTouch76 @ 06/29/14 02:39 PM
Add me on psn Saint if your a ps guy. Same name. I dont spam anything. Only takedowns for the kiddies

I've only played online. 200+ fights I'm still having a blast. I finally won my 1st brown belt a couple of days ago. I'm pretty decent on purple, but after I reach brown I usually get out pointed to decisions. Ugh

My takedown defense has gotten better, I just wish there was a better way to counter them. Sometimes I get a lucky knee, jab or kick in to stop them, but if there was a way to flash KO ppl with a perfectly timed knee as they shot in that would do wonders.

Spammers: For the most part I destroy these guys with counters or just blocking until their energy gets low then unloading a barrage of punches, every now and then though I'll get caught slipping and lose to one of these guys.

Overall IMO the game is still a must buy for any mma fan. No other game makes me stand up fist pump and or scream after winning. (Especially after a couple drinks)

I still find it funny people are complaining about quitters. After 200 fights only 1 guy has quit on me. Then again I haven't played in the blue or white belt division
Since after release day.

The reward in beating the punch/kick spammer is evading and countering, but I agree about the ability to throw all these heavy shots and have little stamina drain.

Once again, the game is FNC 2.0. This is the exact problem that game faced. The only time you see significant stamina drain is when you make them miss. Guys are throwing so modified punches and receive the same amount of stamina drain than when I sway and juke to avoid.

well at least most of these spammers have no takedown d. Guy just quit on me because I guess he doesn't know how to push down on rs lol. Easy w

While the body kick spam is annoying, it is far from devastating. If you use strong blocks which negate 100% of the damage combined with dodges and parries you can get their stamina bottomed out. Then it is a up hill battle for them if you know how to keep the pressure on so they can't build it back up.

Fly in with your own attack then start with a methodical jab, straight, then hook to the body to keep their hands up and dropping their stmaina. At this point they will be reeling with back towards cage, cut the ring off, and continue to unload. If you happen to have a guy good on the ground or submissions then shoot for the take down and continue the assault.

The biggest mistake people try and do is brawl with these guys. Cover up, strong block the body shots, attempt the parries, and let them throw until their temp stamina is empty. Now unleash hell on them

# 439 DaveDQ @ 06/30/14 11:35 AM
That is my current strategy. I am learning that if you have high stamina, and theirs is bottomed out, your success in subbing them is high.

If they can patch long term stamina, that is how much stamina is taken throughout the fight, the system they have will be very rewarding to those that choose patience over continuous mod strikes.

# 440 ManiacMatt1782 @ 06/30/14 01:15 PM
Long term stamina is absolutely broken Temp stamina kinda is too. It recovers to quickly, Whiffed or parried power strikes should take a quarter bar of temp stamina, especially crazy stikes like Cartwheel and Tornado Kicks. Modified strikes, should also cost permanent stamina especially when whiffed or parried. Ground transitions should be slower, and if you are out of stamina, you should have a hald second to a second cool out period before being able to attempt another, if you are full stamina, that is on thing, but it is anog as hell when someone has someone with lightning ground transitions speed, and they are completely gassed, that I can't transition or attempt a submission between their frantic transitions. That is something THQ got right, when you were gassed, it was hard as hell to move, and your transitions would slow down, making them easier to reverse, or just be too slow to register, and then if you were gassed, you did not want to be caught in a submission because your bar would move so slow and it would be very hard to escape.
