Still a work in progress. Dribbling looked good at a stand still but it looked like PS2 Live skating when moving. Nash looked like an 130 pound 15yr old. Sweaty players looked more greasy than sweaty. Disappointing for a game 3 years in the making that thinks is has a chance to compete against 2K.
IDK what to say, I cant say I would have been impressed even if I didnt see that 2k trailer first, the animations still dont look smooth enough and the dunks look off. Im starting to feel sorry for EA with the next gen titles so far.
First off it must be some new dude out of college making that trailer as it was just kinda thrown together. BUT it looked better than what we have seen so far. Looks more like Live 10 than Elite 11
How long has Live been off the NBA games? Since Live 10? I was expecting a better looking game. I only liked the ball handling. They really maybe need to just maybe sell the "Bounce Tek" to 2k! I was alittle hyped for Lives comeback, but the hype is now dead!
The dribbling animations were awesome but the animations going from dribbling to shooting looks off to me its choppy...and doesn't look natural. I'm encouraged about the game though...there's a lot of positives here.
I'm still buying the game because I support competition. Competition is good for the gamers. It didn't look good, but it's something new... Well kind of... Either way we the gamers all win with competition. Obviously most of my play time is going to 2k though.
Just rent it? I would never buy something from EA just to support them. They were getting beat by NFL2K5, so they decided lets make sure we have no competition.
That being said, I hope the game is good. And if it is I will buy it when it comes down in price.
I really want this game to succeed but compared to 2k, which I don't really like, it looks underdeveloped. I'm so disappointed I don't know what to do. I'm hoping there will be a demo to test the game. It does, however, appear to be a good base to build on.
Welp....It's hard not to judge it against the other game. It clearly doesn't look as good, but if they got the bball fundamentals right, it's a good start. I'm glad the franchise is back.
