Are you 8 years old or something? You're not making any sense at all. The replay of something you actually just played looks better? When the replay is just a recording of the actual gameplay???
When you do a manual replay it does not look at good as when the CPU does the cut scene version of the same play. If you cant see that then you are lying to yourself.
I just cant wait until everyone on here is bitching why doesnt it look as good as the trailers
they lied to us.
You dont know the difference. When playing the current gen version of the game and you cut those auto replays and cut scenes that look better than when you are actually in game footage, those are not actual gameplay its cut scenes using the in game engine but it looks much better than when you have control of the game.
its just like a game like the last of us. When you get a cut scene that is CGI using the ingame engine and its not gameplay footage because you dont have control of what is going on
When people say its gameplay footage they are talking about real gameplay when you are in control not when the computer is making the graphics better because its a cut scene.
if you want an idea of what the real gameplay is going to look like go check out the NBA 2k14 PC version on max settings
That is most likely what the real gameplay footage is giong to look like
In game footage and gameplay footage are two different things. HUGE difference. I am not saying that is not ow the cut scenes are going to look. I am saying when you are actually playing the game and have full control its not going to look like that.
And a cut scene in these games are CGI. how can you even dispute that? It may be using the in engine graphics but its still a CGI cut scene.
For thiose expecting huge gameplay overhaul, calm down a little bit... There were some hints that gameplay may not be up to par with gfx ie players running animation on fastbreaks... Lebron jumping weied to bllock durants shot
I think it's fair to expect a big gameplay overhaul for next gen. I really hope the hints that gameplay aren't serious. Gameplay is the main thing. Gameplay>graphics. As beautiful as this looks, it'll be a shame if it still has the same issues as the other nba 2k games.
Overall, this is a theatrical trailer type, to get people hype and show of the gorgeous graphics. Not focus on gameplay, it's meant to be hype(i mean it's mostly dunks and they even have anthony davis doing a reverse windmill type dunk lol). I take it for what it is, that's fine. It looks awesome. I'm not sold on next gen nba 2k14 like a lot of other people are though, i need to see more gameplay and hear more about how the game will play differently than this gen. That's what will get me hyped, even if it's not as flashy lol.
Then I have no idea what you're talking about. You were confusing the point. Real-Time "cutscenes" (which is what 2K has) are by definition in game footage. What you are referring to is the actual gameplay where we can see the icons and indicators under the players. Right? And everyone has agreed they would like to see that as well. So I have no idea what you're arguing other than the fact you got the two terms mixed up and are now trying to clarify yourself.
And If we're going with the strict definition of CGI then games themselves are nothing more than CGI with animation technology behind it. If we're going with the loose definition, then CGI is more referred to the fact that something looks obviously fake as hell and does not look remotely close to what the final product may be (see Madden 06 trailer).
When you play a game like metal gear, the cut scenes look way better than the gameplay parts you are playing. That is because the cut scenes are CGI.
That is why i am saying I want to see real gameplay footage and not these replay or cut scenes to get an idea what the game will really look like
if the gameplay when you are really playing looks exactly like what we just saw then I will gladly admit i am wrong.

Not arguing with you, but please contact a developer and ask them to come here and post about it to prove it. In other words, please post a proof. Until you do that, the truth is out there...

If they built the next gen version of 2k14 from the ground up then why would it play exactly like current gen 2k14?

You comparing old technology to new technology. That's why it is next gen because now the gameplay looks as good as CGI scenes. Thats the point. These are NOT CGI..
Have you ever played Final Fantasy?
Gameplay
vs
CGI Cinematic
You are trying to say that 2k Is pulling something like this and they are not..
Who knew that you were such a fan of photographers. Go play Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball...
So we get people asking for proper head gear, shoes and accessories but god forbid if I ask for more sideline authenticity. Man the asses are coming out the woodwork....
What a weird song to use for that...
this looks epic, the only thing i thought was weird was how big lebrons mouth was on that breakaway dunk... and how quickly it opened and closed... i chuckled a bit
but this almost solidifies me buying 2k over live. live has like 2 weeks left to win me back

You have to be trolling, because nobody could be that ignorant.

Actually that pic is taken from a cinematic. Cutscenes are made using the game engine.
edit: Hum that's what you're saying actually. Don't know what I'am doing here.
