I think it's fair to expect a big gameplay overhaul for next gen. I really hope the hints that gameplay aren't serious. Gameplay is the main thing. Gameplay>graphics. As beautiful as this looks, it'll be a shame if it still has the same issues as the other nba 2k games.

Overall, this is a theatrical trailer type, to get people hype and show of the gorgeous graphics. Not focus on gameplay, it's meant to be hype(i mean it's mostly dunks and they even have anthony davis doing a reverse windmill type dunk lol). I take it for what it is, that's fine. It looks awesome. I'm not sold on next gen nba 2k14 like a lot of other people are though, i need to see more gameplay and hear more about how the game will play differently than this gen. That's what will get me hyped, even if it's not as flashy lol.

When you play a game like metal gear, the cut scenes look way better than the gameplay parts you are playing. That is because the cut scenes are CGI.

That is why i am saying I want to see real gameplay footage and not these replay or cut scenes to get an idea what the game will really look like

if the gameplay when you are really playing looks exactly like what we just saw then I will gladly admit i am wrong.

Maybe he doesn't know that CGI stands for computer generated image. Maybe he thinks it stands for Cutscene Game Image or something..

If they built the next gen version of 2k14 from the ground up then why would it play exactly like current gen 2k14?

There are cutscenes and cinematics. Cutscenes are made using the game engine.
