This was the best situational usage of "In the Air Tonight" since an episode of "Miami Vice" in the mid 80's.
I like when the lyrics "The hurts doesn't show, but the pain still grows" comes on and it shows D.Rose
Since he came back from his injury he looks fine and the hurt doesnt show anymore.
Watching this really has me wondering, hoping, praying, nah f that begging that 2k makes a football game for next gen even if they can't get they hands on a license bring APF to next gen please!! Pretty please!! Lol

Well there goes my hopes for NBA Live. Pre-ordering 2k NOW. Love the song choice of this trailer too. I do hope NBA Live has a nice game though.. competition is always good for the consumer.
I'm excited but what I seen, but my goodness, some of these comments are a bit much, we still have seen gameplay, or seen interviews with 2k even discussing the game.
Didn't like/weirdness:
00:44 - Kobe's shoulders look weird, almost humpback-like
00:45 - weird small polygon triangles on the roof, lighting errors?
01:06 - Don't watch the Hornets/Pelicans.. .but are Jrue Holiday's hands THAT big?
LeBron overall looks good but a tad chubby in the face?
What was great/dope:
Harden's beard - the feathering/transparency in close-ups looks freaking good
Sweat technology has come a long way.
Facial expressions really improved - the emotion that Antonio Davis is just... wow.
Always love the 2K guys figuring a way to push Yay Area flavor in all their trailers.
Overall: fairly impressed, certainly way better than anything EA has demonstrated, including the EA bullshot Live E3 trailer. Curious to see how EA's 5on5 gameplay trailer will look tomorrow and that's the next thing I want to see from 2K - real, in-game footage from actual playable camera views.
Phil Collins, heh. Now we need John Tesh's Roundball Rock (NBA on NBC theme for you youngins).
I wrote about this several weeks back regarding steals and blocks, but not sure where it is. But basically...
You can't defy physics. If any part of the hands, arms, body touches the ball, collision detection and physics MUST come into play and alter the ball's original path. When that results in a block, it NEEDS to be a block. When that results in a steal, it NEEDS to be a steal.
That's real life.
Or would you rather the ball go through body parts, and defy collision detection and physics. Do you want something fake?
yea i get that but its a video game to. it needs to be toned down in some areas. My buddy plays it like a videogame and gazelle hops all over the court to steal the ball. He takes advantage of the shoddy passing system. I know u can icon pass but sometimes its a simple pass and the ball will get swung to a direction not intended. Maybe it just me. Idk.
To all the people posting that they are not impressed, concern yourselves with Live , it's coming out, no worries. I love this and the feel of NBA 2k over any and all sports games
If that is the case then you should probably not be in trailer threads then because thats what trailers are.. detailed close ups of what the game is and how it looks
Im sure we'll get that gameplay soon enough though.
2k said it was a GAMEPLAY TRAILER thus why i expected actual gameplay.
The game looks great but I just want some real gameplay so they can really show off how great it looks
Ok the trailer is cool and all but i wanna see gameplay. Stop getting carried away over graphics. Whats the sense of have a beautiful looking game if it doesnt play like the true sport.

How do you know the gameplay will suck? You don't know that. I don't know that.
What we DO know is that the game looks beautiful and that's what we're commenting on.
