2K Sports has released the first next-gen gameplay trailer of NBA 2K14, weighing in at 1:33 of goodness -- set to "In the Air Tonight" by Phil Collins.

lol, nah, i'm just wondering if next gen gameplay will be a huge improvement like the graphics because gameplay is more important than graphics. And saying it's ok to have bugs because a lot of games has them isn't the best logic lol. It depends on what kind bugs there are. I'm looking forward to more reports about what they worked on for next gen gameplay. Such as better AI, passing, rebounding, rotations, association, my player. These have needed to be improved for a while now and i'm hoping next gen is where they'll be improved greatly.

When 2k actually shows 5 on 5 gameplay people will ask for a replay and zoom in just to prove that its not CGI...

I would say the AI should improve because of all the extra RAM and goodies they have. Plus I would love to see something where you can DL AI from the cloud. Like the game records your profile of how you play, and you could upload that raw data and then ohters like your friends could DL that profile and play against you with the company AI playing your style.

I hear you. ESPECIALLY with MyPlayer, because I'm not a big basketball guy. I don't watch much basketball to have an understanding for little things like I do with football. I couldn't even begin to tell you any basketball play. I understand some of basic strategy but when I play 5-5 a lot of times I find myself not knowing what to do haha. I never got good at the dribble stick to spam into the lane like most people do who can't play actual basketball. So I do MyPlayer so I can just focus on one player/position and learn what that position is about and focus on doing one thing at a time. But because of the things like AI, passing, rebounds MyPlayer gets annoying because of course you cant control everybody. I completely lose immersion when the CPU back courts for the 3rd time in a half for no reason at all. Or when players just run out of bounds like they dont realize where they are on the court. Little things that will go a long way when fixed AI wise.

And on the non gameplay side they have to update the myplayer create a player/draft process. I've literally done that east vs west game about 25+ times because I like to try out different player types and see how well I can do. After going through the create a player/draft so many times you see how stale it has been and how they didn't change much at all the last few years. Ihope MyPlayer gets a lot of love personally.

Download AI from the cloud? Play against profiles? That's called playing against VIP Profiles, at the very least was in the PS2 games.

Yeah, hopefully the extra RAM would help. But AI is no joke, still if they could at least make the AI just not so stupid i would be happy lol. Oh the whole cloud AI thing would be awesome, but i dunno if that will happen this year. Wait a minute, actually nevermind, hasn't that been done before kinda?

You can do this already w/ VIP profiles. When doing a quick game (offline) at the team select screen press Y/Triangle, scroll down, select either home/away team profiles, go thru Friends List, select one, CPU will now play with that persons tendencies, etc...

Well, I hope they scrap VC. Keep that crap for myplayer and at maximum, shoe unlocks.

OH thanks good to know, i have not gotten the game yet this year. I am waiting for the next gen version when I get the ps4.
