Well as it turns out, for serious injuries at least. I had Randall Cobb go down with an Abdominal Tear, and she came up and said the team wasn't sure what it was, but that he was leaving the game and wouldn't be back. It also showed him walking down the Tunnel with the training staff. To me this is pretty good, but I'd still like to see when they leave the field or are helped off the field to determine the injury. But walking down the tunnel is a good addition, and I'm glad the sideline reporter who talk about it, makes more sense, being she is right there and can get more details.

I feel like there are too few Asst. Tackles being recorded though, with a total of 4 in two games. Over all defensive reaction is pretty good, and the AI is calling pretty good plays so far. I've seen only a few run plays in their 2-minute offense, and if it wasn't for Miller getting hurt on one of the Hawks last drives they might have scored before I got the ball back and could ice the game. Though I really think the Seahawks, with Wilson as QB should be calling more Read Options or he should be scrambling more. He only scrambled two or three times on me, and I stopped him each time. Overall I still see it as a good addition to the Madden franchise, and I can't wait for August 27.
Yeah based on the community videos from a few weeks back, there will be a sideline reporter for pre-game, all injuries, and for halftime in the full version.

Played some more games this afternoon. Here are some more impressions. I'm playing on default all-pro

Positives
- IE is more polished
- improved running/ blocking
- Had decent competitive games.
- Halftime is better than last year, such that they actually show replays and not just cut scenes
- even though its cheezy, I like the Defensive Replay after a big play. Forgot who the sponsor was. But why not show TD replays as well

Negatives

- Replays are bad. Poor angles and too zoomed in
- pre play camera is too far out for my taste
- CPU ruining backs sometimes try three consecutive spin moves
- CPU timeouts at end of halfs
- CPU still always elects to recieve kickoff
- removal of certain sliders. Why did EA do this.
-

I really think most of the issues that have plagued this game are related to the fact that EA spends little time with CPU vs Human games and are more focused on head to head.

I guess throwing to an invisible player covered by an invisible player is one of the new "wrinkles" to this years Madden. Aside from that some quick impressions after three games.

Pro's
-The default speed threshold seems more realistic in comparison to NCAA14
-Blocking is improved
- CPU play calling seems improved.
- QB's seem like they are throwing with their real life motions.

Con's
- Default Camera seems pulled back way too far

- Still no registering of Pancake Blocks nor Assisted Tackles, In all three games the CPU has registered some of each (averaging around 5 Pancake blocks per game) User=0.

- Played on All Pro and while the CPU run game seems viable this year it seems like once you get ahead and the CPU is forced to throw the ball it just can't execute. Looking at Wilson's passing stats after the game make's it appear that he is highly efficient, but the CPU seems like it has no idea where to go or adjust once it's down a couple scores and has to throw- Thats when the majority of my sacks started showing up.

- Receiver separation seems impossible on any type of deep route, unless you throw the ball underneath and pick up YAC's.

It's interesting how everyone hates the new camera because yesterday when I posted pics of how it was pulled back so you can always see your wrs on screen and make adjustments pre-snap, everyone said that was great.

Playing the Ravens/49ers matchup and want to note some things:

Gotta make sure you designate who you want to defend on an option play. Otherwise teams like SF could hurt you.

Kap went back on a PA and didn't even sit in the pocket lol, saw daylight and took off for a 15yd gain.

Saw two early drops which surprised me being on All-Madden. Currently have QBA at 15, reaction time and pass coverage at 55, INTs at 35 (40 CPU). Speed threshold at 40. Everything else default All Madden and it plays good so far, I'll see how it holds up.

Impressed with the Hawks! Hope they do well again this year.

Ugh everybody is invisible for the ravens except for 2 wide receivers... Anybody seeing this? It's very disappointing.

i must admit im impressed. as someone who has NOT been impressed with the infinity engine in any release thus far(didn't even like it in NCAA14). its well done in M25. no ragdolls, realistic after play stumbles and interactions. I even saw some limbs ge tangled after a play but it was realistic. smooth gameplay and varied animations. this has me even looking forward to next gen Madden. I think I will be doing some slider tweaks and I hope the zoom cam is back to the M12 position. but I must say EA seems to be doing a good job.

I see their shadow but their model is gone.

Same thing has happened to me in both the games I have played, In Baltimore and Green Bay

Also worth noting that they fixed LT/RT pass block engages which corrects the sack/pressure issue off the edge that plagued the last few Maddens. Hopefully the retail copy ships with this same pass blocking.

The biggest difference in this game to me is the lack of instant acceleration and need to use different speeds while moving. It's a bit too choppy at times, but also helps to get rid of the RT abuse where high speed players can just zip around like Sonic the Hedgehog at will.
This might be a purchase for me this year because of this. It just didn't feel right for me not be worried an elite pass rushing RE like Julius Peppers or Jared Allen and more worried about whoever the LE end, even if they were much lesser rated players.

Oh how I love the hit stick again!

I really despise the camera angle. It's so disorienting to be so far away from the action. Definitely not the angle I will use in the retail copy.

And the tackling is very herky jerky, seems like they don't wrap up or follow through the tackle when IE kicks in on defense and far to many times the backs goes down to their knees like they've been hit by knock out punch during an IE tackle. I really didn't mind all the after play goofyness pre-patch IE one, at least we have way better/more gang tackling during play, maybe this will be tuned in the release version.
Turn Tackling slider UP, Facemask DOWN. The IE engine on defaults is terrible, even worse than M13 in my opinion.

It hasn't taken me long (5-6 games) to get better CPU/CPU gameplay out of this demo than anything possible in M13 even with edited rosters. That's a good sign for me.

It's still not what I'd expect out of a football game in the year 2013, but it's not nearly as bad as some of the past Madden games on this generation.

The drills are confusing the hell out of me. What qualifies a pass/fail? And Kaepernick won't even snap the ball in the ballhawk drill.

Anyway the gameplay is pretty good. More than I expected, at least.

Big diff. No Ray Lewis for the Ravens!

So I kept having the issue on the Skills Trainer- I kept failing because I was never given any directions. It just starts and you hike the ball.

Figured out it was because I changed the difficulty level to All-Pro.

Once I changed the difficulty level back to the default Pro when I went into Skills Trainer... I am getting instructions.

Weird.
