Madden NFL 13 CCM Will Not Allow You to Play Other Games on the Schedule, Only Yours

Because I have been asked about this via Twitter and email so often, I wanted to make sure people were aware.

Justin Dewiel, Community Manager for EA Sports, just confirmed via Twitter (just follow the timeline), if you coach a team, you can no longer play other games on the schedule, only the game(s) on your own schedule.

For example. Rgiles asked if he could coach the Cowboys in CCM, but play the Patriots vs. Browns game.

Justin stated that it is not possible, because CCM is based around you and your character (coach or player).

why do i wanna draft players that arnt real? lol i always import about 3 years of ncaa rosters. and even if that was all going to be correct to where id never lift a finger. i still wouldnt be able to play as all the teams lol. i like using some pretty difficult sliders and play around 6 min quarters and that way im never 100percent going to win as that team, and thats what gets me excited for madden but this year...

I was being sarcastic...I don't have any faith that the game will ship with 100% accurate rosters (including equipment). I want to edit my own rosters also. It's one of the things I love to do. I go through and make the corrections EA missed. It's not just fixing their mistakes either, like you said, I like to draft real players and we can't even do that...come to think of it since the computer is going to be generating generic players...there seems to be no reasonable explanation as to why the player can't make their own roster... if changing the players already in the game is the issue, simply don't allow editing of a current NFL player. IDK. At any rate it sucks to be us this year. (that makes 4 years in a row 4 me)

Very disappointing that a simple feature that has been in Madden since about 1996 is now removed.

I've always played with multiple teams.

This really sucks for guys that like to control all 32 teams offline...

Personally, I don't play offline franchise since Online Franchise came out in Madden 10, but, I feel bad for the 1,000's of guys that do...

Hopefully, they'll figure out a way to bring this back in Madden 14.

I can't believe that so many people are whining that they can't be all the teams. EA's goal is to make the game "True to Life". Where in the NFL do you see a Chuck Pagano coach sunday night for the Colts and then Thursday night see him on the sidelines for the Patriots and then back in blue Sunday? IT DOESN"T HAPPEN! EA is doing is mission and making the game "True to Life".
